(Penny’s POV) I bumped into my father-in-law on my way out of the huge office complex. I had been so eager to get out of there, my steps brisk even with the residual ache between my legs, the cruel reminder of what had just transpired in Fabian’s office, and so you can imagine my surprise, and then slight shame when he called out my name, excitedly beckoning me to him. I was pretty sure I looked a mess. And as I walked over to him, I hoped to the heavens that he’d focus on something else but my apparent disheveled appearance.
