Anna

(After few weeks)

She can get out now as Drew will be coming in any moment. For the past few weeks, they were avoiding each other and that's far best for them because whenever they both are in the same room something awful happens

But the kiss was not bad Anna it was the best kiss of your life. Her inner desire provoke her

She shook her head no way she will go there. He is an attractive man anyone would react like her. She tries to justify her reaction

She then saw Vin-drew security in charge and driver entering the kitchen

"Hey Vin," She greeted him

Vin respectfully nodes her" Miss Smith"

She smiles and said "I'm going now but i have cooked the supper so you can have some I will put the food in the fridge so Mr Scott can have it when he came please just inform him"

But Vin didn't need to do that as Drew was already there wearing a navy three-piece suit and was holding briefcase that Vin took it from his hand

"I think no need to put the warm food in the fridge when Mr Scott is here" Drew give her a teasing smile

Anna's cheeks were blushing...He never gives her any smile and let say what a smile he has.

Anna was feeling nervous after so many days he is standing in front of her and she was expecting anger or typical arrogance but he was acting so strange and nice.

"Cat got your tongue' Drew smirked while removing his coat and walking towards her

Anna moves back "ah no ... I mean hi you are early" she starts stumbling

Drew shurgs and looked at the food that Anna has cooked "why. Were you planning to run before I come"

Anna looks way "no i wasn't I was free so"

Drew folded his cuff and Anna observe his manly strong arms and feel so hot and quickly she lower her gaze. Oh God, what's happening to her. Definitely, that one kiss is messing her head

He said "i thought you are avoiding me. I haven't seen you here for two days"

Anna was stun that he notices that

"i work for three days here so i took yesterday and day after yesterday off. I even won't take that day off but my mom was planning to come here so i was doing some of my household work and then i have some university assignment to submit" Anna explained to him

Drew hummed in approval and took the bite of mac and chicken cheese "oh wow it's delicious"

Anna give him a look "i try to put the salt minimum this time "

Drew stop and looked her "i really never said this to you that you are an amazing cook isn't it?"

Anna slowly node

Drew sighs "come, have dinner with me"

Anna looked puzzled "dinner with you? No i think I will go now you enjoy your food "

Drew stop her by holding her arm "hey I'm trying to be nice here i just realized that what a prick i was you work day and night and i never offer you food especially the food made by you"

But all Anna can focus on how drew was holding her hand and how his touch was making her feel something

Drew can also sense that and pass her a look and then he removed his hand

Anna licked her lips " no it was always me and mom"

Drew asked, "what about your father?"

Anna makes a distasteful face "i don't know him. All i know that my father has some issues with his wife so they kinda separated. My mom was working as a part-time server in on the restaurant he went to conduct business so that's how the met.H e left mom while she was pregnant with me. Apparently, he found out his wife wants to get back with him so he left mom even knowing she was expecting his child. But my mom is the strongest women I met she took care of me like a pro she sacrifices so much but you will never see her sad face you always found her cheerful and so full of life" Anna smiled and her eyes become little emotional

Drew smiled too "you really love your mom i can see in your eyes. And i can't even imagine what type of man your father was to left a pregnant women. Your mom must face some difficulty why didn't she go to court"

Anna scornful expression can tell drew how much her father hurt her and her mom " I dont know much just that my father was the very successful businessman and he already told mom that she can't prove that he is my father. But my mom told him that he doesn't need to worry about that as she will never ask anything from anyone where she and her baby is unwanted.So she moves to next city, sure it was a little hard and difficult but we somehow manage" she played with her food while telling Drew something so personal that she usually keep inside bottle up"

Drew gently said " your mom is totally a superwomen anna "

Anna give him an understanding smile and put the lock of hair behind her ear "yes she is (Anna feel little embarrassed how much she told him about her) I think i should go otherwise i will miss my bus" she stands to move

Drew also stand but then he said " can you wait for one second"

Anna slightly node. Drew went to his room and came back while holding something

"here these are some complimentary gift coupons of some new Italian five-star restaurant. I usually got a lot of them as many of them are my clients but i never got the time to go there. But you told me your mom is coming this week why don't you take her"Drew handed that to Anna

But Anna can't accept that "but Mr. Scott i can't take it, this is wrong they have specifically given to you I'm very grateful but i can't accept this"

Drew shake his head "first of all don't call me Mr. Scott call me drew and secondly they will go waste one way another as I'm not using it because of my busy schedule so why not you avail it. Look you and your mom will have a good time really so i insist please take it"

Anna was in deep thought to take the coupon or not but looking at Drew sincere expression she accepts it "thank you very much, Mr. Scott, I mean Drew" she gives him a shy smile

Drew eyes changed for a moment and he intensely looked her"mention not"

But Anna felt the shiver the way he replied to her

Anna eyes beamed with happiness the way her mother was looking at the restaurant they were dining in. She is truly thankful to Drew that he made her take those coupons.

Her mom came this Friday for the weekend then she has to go her busy life that Anna want to take that and give the comfort that her mother never got.

'Annie this place is beautiful but don't you think a little expensive, you know we can eat somewhere else less expensive or even i can cook your favorite i don't mind really' Jenna said with a concerning tone

Anna kissed her mom's hand and smiled 'mom don't worry i told you my boss give me these gift coupons that will hardly make us use any money, secondly don't you think we both need this treat'

Jenna touch Anna cheeks 'you are the sweetest daughter i can ever imagine. By the way your boss sound very nice and a great gentleman, who do this nowadays well not my boss' Jenna said in a teasing note while sipping her lemonade

Anna was grateful she didn't tell her mom about the old Drew as he was nowhere a gentleman but the way he is to her nowadays she can somehow accept that.

But Anna also cringed knowing how her mom boss is giving her tough time again 'Mom how you even manage to give you three day off he never gives someone few hours off'

Jenna shrugs 'well i was missing you and i wanted to check how you are adjusting here so i start plotting how to take some leave luckily my boss got some family emergency and he left a kind lady his in charge while he was out of city so i somehow convinced her to give me this weekend leave and she happily agreed'

Anna grin 'you always find a way out mommy but i will be paying for the tickets this time when you are going you already wasted a lot to come here'

Jenna made a protest face but Anna makes it clear that she won't back down

After a spectacular dinner, Jenna went to restroom and Anna handle the bills. She went to wait for her mother outside that all of a sudden she was hit by a man. She flinched for a second but she got her balance and look the person she almost hit.

I'm so sorry Sir, I hope you are alright' She said to a tall man wearing an expensive branded suit and was in his late 50s or early 60s but made her weird were his deep blue eyes that were also observing her

He said in authoritative voice 'Im fine and its ok'

Then she heard her mom voice 'Annie what you doing here, everything ok' but Jenna stop in a midway when she saw the man standing in front of them

She saw how her mother cheery face falls down and her complexion played to ghost white. Anna was shocked and worried, she never saw her mother like that, thinking she might be ill she asked 'mom are you ok'

Even that man become tense when he saw Jenna and when Anna called her mom.

Her mom was breathing heavily 'I think we should go home come, Anna, i need some fresh air'

Anna the look to both the man and her mom to figure out what's wrong but her mother was dragging her.

When they were out Anna try to stop her mother 'mom stop we both will fell at this speed, please tell me what happens'

Jenna look back to the restaurant and shiver with cold or maybe fear 'nothing i was feeling little suffocated i need fresh air'

Anna knew her mom was lying. She is sure Jenna knew that man that's why her mom reacted this way

Anna holds her mother shoulder and fixed her gaze with her 'mom i know you are hiding something which you cant from me. And i also know you know that guy and that's why you reacted this way. who he is and what he did otherwise i will go and ask him what he did to my beautiful mom who never reacted this way'

Jenna eyes filled with tear 'no no please Anna i don't want you to go. He is no one ok no one he reminded me of someone that it'

Anna thinks for a minute then it registers who it can be 'mom he is the one? isn't he?' Anna said in a scared tone

Jenna look away but Anna wants to know 'Mom tells me he is my father' she said it with a bitter tone

Jenna wiped her tears 'Please let's go I can't stay here for one more minute. And please don't let me answer you anything that I'm sure will hurt you in the end. So baby please let's go'

Anna looks back to the restaurant and can't believe she actually came face to face with her father for the first time like this. She has the urged to go inside and see him once more and ask the question that why he abandon them like this.

But Anna's feet were frozen as her mom condition was making her do what her mom wants. She can see how deeply disturbed she is.

She tries to calm her mother 'ok mommy lets go I won't ask anything but please relax you are so pale and cold come on let's get inside the truck'

Thank god Anna borrow the truck from her friend Becca

She started the engine and looked at her mom who was still in her deep thoughts. She picks Jenna hands that made Jenna winced, Anna can't see that and said the verses they say together 'Im here for you, you here for me, always and forever'

Jenna one fat tear drop falls and she smiled 'Always and forever'

That's how deep their love and bond was always and forever.
