Chap 10

Anna

She was daydreaming again. For the last three days, she can only think about Drew and Drew. She blushed and had a shy smile on her face. She never felt he will make her feel all of this. He is an incredible lover.

But she also knows its temporary one day he will end this as he said very clearly. His rules were hard to digest but like him, she was also not looking for a relationship. She doesn't believe in love and long-term feelings as she can see how her parent's relationships were doomed. But why she is feeling so strange after spending one night with him.

She came back from her memory land when the class bell ring. Thank god the boring class was over, now she can go to work and see Drew.

She smiles and shakes head

'Why are you smiling' Becca her friend stand in front of her

She made a surprised sound 'Becca seriously one day you will give me a heart attack! when did you come'

Becca grins and nudged her 'well i was there all the time but you were daydreaming and smiling like a fool. The reason behind your smile is the guy you went home with last weekend'

She try to look away and try to avoid the subject 'I don't know what you are talking about i went home alone'

Becca stare her big 'don't give me s**t cause i saw you going home with someone else so its better you spill it or otherwise being your best friend i will follow you day and night to know what you are hiding because it's my right'

Anna put her hand on her head, she will never back down 'yes i went home with someone and you will not tell anyone please'

Becca said in excitement her 'i knew it finally you are not a virgin anymore so your boss was as good in bed as he looks like in reality'

Anna roll her eyes but she was feeling flushed and too hot 'sshh will you be quiet. He (she shyly replied) is incredible and so good'

But then Anna eyes bulged out 'How the hell you know i went home with my boss i never told you'

Becca shrugs and winked 'told you I'm a good observer i saw him giving you looks and when i saw him running after you i knew it something was cooking hot and delicious'

Anna's eyes plead her 'but Becca please don't tell anyone especially your classmate Nicole she is his sister and he strictly told me not to tell anyone about us'

Becca made a disgusted face 'why the hell he tells you that. Is he ashamed of you? That jerk Anna how you even agree to that'

She also had a doubt that may be he is ashamed of her but she doesn't want to end this as she had a feeling there something else too 'Becca its a long story but all i can tell he is kinda non committed person, someone broke his heart and he is not ready for a relationship and actually neither I'm causing after seeing how my mom broke when my father left us i don't want to be involved in serious one'

Becca looked serious for a moment 'but Annie this is not you . You are a sweet innocent girl with big heart how you are sure you will not fall for him.'

Anna shiver with that thought no she will never fall for drew he is a very complicated person

'Cause I'm attracted to him but not to his personality he is complex and I don't fall for complex things' She confidently said

Becca who still have a worried look 'You know whats best im just a little concern'

She holds Becca's arm and kissed her cheeks 'don't be my bestie i know what im doing. Let's go and grab some lunch i need to go for my job too'

But She should really wish what she is doing.

When Anna come to Drew home she was feeling nervous all of a sudden. It has been three days she will see him after what they did. She got some important assignment and presentation in the university that she needs to give that's what makes her busy but Drew also never checked on her why she was missing which hurt her a little but knowing the nature of their so-called relationship she give a benefit of doubt may be he was busy or may be he wants her to call.

She should make this thing clear with drew too.

She took a deep breath to calm herself and wish he is not home so that she can get some alone time.

Luckily she was alone but to make sure she checked the rooms and indeed no one was in the apartment.

She sighs she will do the cleaning work first then start with the dinner. Then she will see what night has decided for her or for them. She hope Drew wants her to stay the night so that she can have a passionate night that he promised to her but then she remember his words that there will be no sleep over.

She made a tense face how she will keep up with his rules if she keeps forgetting them.

She starts the cooking and decided to cook steak with baked potatoes. In the middle of the cooking, she heard Drew voice 'so you came'

She makes a startling sound and drops the spoon she was holding 'Oh god you scared the hell out of me'

Drew raises his brows and walks slowly towards her and honestly, that walk and his gaze intimidated her. He stands in front of her and slowly raises his hand to touch her face she closed her eyes. Oh god those feels he give her only with one touch

He moved his hand to her neck and bring her closer 'you were gone for three days. I wasn't expecting you i thought i scared you' he nuzzled her neck and touch the spot of her neck that drives her crazy

She makes a sound that she never knew can come from her 'I have some university stuff to do. And usually took three days off as I told you before. You don't know my schedule?'

Drew looks up with crude passion ‘'I don't keep my employee schedule Vin and mostly my mom keep all this information because i don't really care who comes or go' he bluntly replied

She blinked her eyes on how candid he get sometime and felt a strange hurt. Why he always act so indifferent

But to even raise that question Drew break the tension and make her happy when he said 'you know for three days i was going crazy without you. After that night i wanted you so bad that next day i was waiting for you but you never came ' He complaint

Anna licked her lips and breath slowly 'you can call me or come to my place as you know the address'

Drew's eyes changed into cold one and he replied in a soft but demanding tone ' Is this a game for you? to tease me or check me how desperate im for you'

She was expecting how their conversation well turn into this and she shook her head 'no Drew I never think like that and you took it wrong I have to submit some important research project in my assignment and there was a graded presentation too so that's why i didn't come otherwise i was also looking forward to another night like that. Next time i will call you if there's a change of plan or if i wanted to see you are free and we can hangout'

He raises his finger 'No remember Anna you will never call me until and unless there's an emergency nor you will come to my office or anyplace where people can see or hear about this expect my and your place where no one can figure about us.'

She flinched how candidly he said all of this. She was hurt but she was trying her best not to show him as already made that clear to her

She looks down and took a deep breath to control herself because rightnow she feel like crying 'Ok i will do what you say but then how we will contact if there's a change of plan or when of us get busy'

He was quite like he was really thinking 'I will email you or most probably text you but never call you as it can be risky as everyone knows im single and they are always looking for gossip and you also make sure that whenever you got my message doesn't read in publically '

Anna nodes slowly but she was not feeling good about this although he has been clear about not disclosing about them to anyone.

'Hey look at me' he gently picks her face

Anna looks up and drew give her a small smile 'You are too quite, im sorry if i said in a harsh tone but that's the rules little dove and you agree to them. My intention will never will be to hurt you'

It was his guilt or not Anna relax a little bit and she gives him a small smile but drew has another plan as he closes their distant and grabbing her hair painfully

Anna make a painful sound but it was overcome when touching her body and make her move backward but then something touches her very hard on her back and she screamed in hurt 'ouch'

Drew also stop to see and saw the hanging pans sharp handle pressed on her back 'oh f**k, i so sorry' he rubbed her back side and see the damage 'its little red i will put some ice'

Anna rubbed also 'no need its a fine now its not something serious '

Drew looked her in concern 'are you sure'

She smiled 'yeah its nothing i got bigger hits and burns then this'

Then she remembers 'oh s**t i forget to close the stove knob' She run to switch off and luckily the food was saved from burning

she said to drew 'im making chicken steak, you must be hungry'

He look up and down to her 'yeah but not for steak '

Anna understands what he is hungry for.

She can feel her body burning the way he was looking at her and she without knowing took a step back. Drew raise an eyebrow and rub his finger in his jaw and smirked 'so you want to run'

She shakes her head while drew was coming towards her 'no'

He holds her waist 'but your face is saying you want to run away from me

Anna lick her lips and was breathing loudly 'Am I?' she was also not sure what she wants

Drew said the word 'come'
