He knew he cross some lines when he treated Anna like a stranger and he was so insensitive towards her when his mother and sister came. At the time he thought she would understand but the cold way he was talking to her and when he saw the hurt in her eyes that she was trying hard to hide he knew it he messed it up. He cursed when she went home with a broken expression.
