Emily POV
I followed the king into a large open area. People were milling around, waiting for the couple to enter. Many showed their necks while others curtsied. I could not tell why some bared their necks while others bowed. It wasn't very clear. After paying respects to the king, some left to go about their duties while others watched me as I followed the king, their eyes narrowing as they tried to work out why the king brought a young pup back with him.
The dining room hall was massive. Hundreds of people were standing near chairs at the tables, talking and waiting for the king.
