WHAT THE MENENDEZ BROTHERS SAID TO THE POLICE :

Police took great time searching for any clues, hints , paths that could lead to the discovery of a case such gruesome. the town was now immensely disappointed in the police and pressure was building upon them. Whatever they had to find they had to do it hurriedly as people were breathing down the necks of the police forces.

According to the police when the asked the brothers about suspects the brothers made it clear that they were returning from the movies and that when they entered the living room from the front door they witnessed the horrific sight of their parents bodies so dismantled and practically ruined. After realization settled within the brothers they called 911 From what the call gives us Lyle was hysterical during the 911 call that he could barely describe the situation to the authorities. But we could hear Erik in the background of the call.

The brothers had told the police multiple times that they were sure it was the mafia and within a span of time the police believed them and started working on other options not giving up on the case. Now for a moment simply imagine viewing your parents in a situation like this But I want you to forget your past with them , I want you to forget about HOW they died . I want you to forget who they were and what they did. In this moment they are strangers to you and all you know about them is that these people brought you in this world.

In one way or another your heart will ache wether its now or a decade later it will catch up to you. You will shed tears for the life you THOUGHT you could have with them. For a fraction of minute you want them back even if you dont know ANYTHING of them . wanna know why? Because your willing to do anything to have the possibility of living a great life.

But once you know a person and their character, personality, action and mindset can you really forget them?

the answer is yes and no.

Yes because if you were standing at the scene where Erik and Lyle menendez were standing you would cry because of the life you never got to have. because of the memories you never got to make . Because of the childhood you never got to live.

No because a person can also be recognized and KNOWN only for their action So if you KNEW your parents and their character, personality and actions maybe you wouldn't be able to shed a single tear. And if couldn't shed tears for them because of what they did you would hate yourself wouldn't you? You would think your crazy because society says you cry when someone dies and if you dont your an unfeeling monster. In that moment when you cant shed tears are you sure your thoughts aren't of that I'm a monster because I cannot cry at such a tragic incident. What if just maybe the person who died isn't worth crying over? But chances are in that overwhelming moment you can't think of something positive because your brain becomes numb and only focuses on the negative emotions wether you want that or not.
