Harper’s POV:
I woke early that morning, as I lay in bed thoughts of the past couple of days flashed through my mind.
“Penny for you thoughts” I searched the room for Dax’s face, when I found him, I smiled at him.
“Nothing, I was just thinking of the road ahead” I lied to him because I honestly didn’t want to talk about Leo.
“Oh, good for a minute there I thought you were thinking about Leo”
I sat up and stared at him “I never said his name was Leo”
“No but you screamed out his name quite a few times when you were unconscious.” By the death grip he had on the chair’s armrest, I could see he was very angry, I couldn’t understand why he felt so much anger towards Leo. “He’s the Alpha of Golden Sphere right”
I dropped my head because I didn’t want him to see the shame in my eye
