Pearl's POV
I sit on the same chair I sat reading books all day and stare out of the window. So this is the lake house. Which is why he didn't sleep here. And I thought he had Beta Duties to deal with.
"I am so sorry, Pearl" Mist says and I just block her.
I have no time for being subjective to sympathy. I sigh as I hear birds chirp. A sparrow sits on the window pane and I just stare at it. I wonder if it's a he or she. I then see another sparrow yelling at the one sitting as she flies in the air. The one sitting on the window pane flies higher meeting the other one.
