Episode 24-The underneath plan

Somewhere in Angel Bay….

Prince Sapphire, the first Prince of Queen Angelite Rhos Royale was engrossed in studying the Angel Bay’s dungeon while drawing lines, making intersections and circles on a map the tent he was, the tent was lighted dimly by burning lamps which casted shadows to the other side of the room, the prince seems deeply engrossed at setting his plan in motion since he was the one leading the rebellion inside the city, he rubbed his temples lightly as his face brows creased softly while trying to link another path on the map together but find it difficult, shoving the map of the table, he throw his pen away getting mad at himself for not being to draw what he aimed to achieve.

“Hey, I think you should relax” Sia his mate, came strolling in her golden shimmering dress that had extremely long silts at each side exposing a great deal of her skin, her hands find his way to his perfectly toned chest, tracing down his physique and slowly caressing his chest as she slowly and carefully turned to face him.

“You’ve been on this map for a long time Saph, you need to get yourself some rest” Sia seductively muttered while staring at her mate through her lashes while expecting him to fall for her voice.

“I’m your mate Sia, your compelling doesn’t work on me, I know you are worried but I have to find another passage into the dungeon” Sia slowly moved back from Sapphire with a dissatisfied look on her face, being from the Agapi family had many advantages including the ability to have anyone doing your bidding, except your mate of course which can be very dissatisfactory.

“You really need to get some sleep, you can’t keep punishing yourself also…I bring news” Sia had an incredibly sweet and charming voice and look that could easily lure and seduce anyone but then Sapphire had learnt to deal and escape her charms over the years of them being married.

“What news?” Sapphire questioned while slowly walking towards the glass of wine placed on the table not far from where his bed was. They were in a tent made underneath the market ground. One of the resistance members who was from the Geo family had successfully hid their existence in the least expected place, under which they built tunnels and link ways and little rooms where many of them stayed while working on how to break into the prison and rescue the queen which was taking time than they wished for.

They don’t go up to the surface except it’s extremely necessary, they have few of the resistance crew up which pass information to them daily, and most of the resistance members that were responsible for getting those information was from the Agapi family, since only them have the power to make anyone talk, they could enchant anyone and the person the collected information goes to was Princess Sia; who become a princess after she had her first child with the prince.

“What’s the news Sia?” Sapphire questioned again after gulping down his drink, the look on Sia’s face could make him guess that the news was pretty unpleasant and the fact that she was taking forever to say whatever it is she has to say heightened his suspicions.

“Promise me you would not overreact if I tell you about it” Sia requested of him and Saph narrowed his brows at her in total suspicion, he moved closer to her after dropping his glass.

“The queen was poisoned, she’s alright now though but it appears she lost her child” Saph’s expression slowly hardened and his eyes started to change from its normal chestnut colour to a sudden blue that suddenly went radiant, he was mad…furious would have been the right word for how he was feeling I’m certain.

“Sapphire!” Sia called him out but he was too angry.

“Father” Their 7years old son Pyere who walked in with food in his hand, his responsibilities with rest of the young member of the group was to help in preparing the food, despite being from a royal family, he was an humble agile boy that took everything after his father, but took his mothers jet-black hair eyes but had his father Sapphire eyes, warm ivory skin and heart-shaped face. Sapphire had always ensured to keep his anger at Bay around his child so his glow disappeared immediately she walked in with the tray of their male, Pyere could tell something was off about his parents since they both immediately go quiet upon his arrival, he slowly moved to the table and dropped the meal, before paying his respect and moving out after which Sia moved into his arms in an attempt to calm him down which for a moment she didn’t think it’ll work but it’ll actually did as Sapphire snaked his arms around her and hugged her tight

Sia looked up into his eyes felt his scent feel her nose, she raised her body to his height standing on her toes as she met her lips with his. Sia moved her arms around his neck and pulled him to bend to her while slowly deepening the kiss for a minute Saph wanted to break the kiss but he felt the connection established between them get stronger and the sparks freely flow around them making his hands find her waist, ponderously roaming her body with his strong palm spreading across her back until they cupped and lifted her up heftily and slowly towards the bed which was made up of animal fur to make the prince comfortable while the rest of the crew use other soft material they could find to sleep.

Sia let lost her material exposing herself to her husband while he let lose his loin cloth and took his clothes off him but that brief moment of lost contact led to his hesitation but the desperate look on his wife’s face had him leaning into the crook of his neck while planting soft kisses down to the middle of her chest making her writhe under him and without further hesitation the Prince claimed his wife making sure she was satiated before letting go and before finally laying next to her for her to cuddle.

“The mating season is drawing nearer, it’s getting harder to keep my hands off-

“Sia, I have a lot on my hand right now” Sapphire uncomfortably stood while grabbing the robe laying carelessly right at the foot of the bed while picking up the flung map then moved it over to the table and spread the map again and he was about to start his study again when the group where he had sent to move his sister’s body arrived and Green immediately announced his presence at the door.

“My lord” Green called out and Saph glanced over to his improperly dressed wife then draw the curtains that separated their bedroom from his walking place.

“You can come in” Saph urged Green who didn’t hesitate to walk his way into the tent and immediately move towards the prince who offered him a seat next to him. Saph on reading his expression knew things didn’t go as planned.

“The princess was there tonight, she must have learnt about Princess Angelique somehow…but she thankfully she didn’t know about the reason why Princess Angelique’s dragon is alive, we cannot move the body out right now-

“It’s too dangerous to leave her there as well she could have them burn my sister’s body that’s…that’s can be disastrous, she won’t be able to claim her powers that way, her body houses her crystal” The prince worried with his brows instantly furrowed tight.

“I understand your concerns my lord but right now we have to wait to find out whatever it is the princess is up to…before me and the rest of the crew sent there could leave, I heard she was planning on claiming Princess Angelique’s dragon” Green informed scratching the edges of his itchy beard filled jaw.

“That’s suicide, a dragon only tie his existence to one particular person and trying to make it obey him could to either of their death” Saph scoffed adjusting his robe and the map on the table.

“I know my lord but instead of deliberating on that, I think the princess is quite distracted right now…this is the perfect time to raid the dungeon.

“I haven’t yet figure out the pathway that can be paved out of Angel Bay, it’s too dangerous, until several escape routes have been made we can’t storm the dungeon yet” Steph told Green who also looked frustrated on what to do until Prince Pyere came running in with a letter in his hand.

“Father” He called out loudly racing straight for his father and handing him a royal scroll which seems to have came from the royal palace.

“It’s from mother” Saph declared immediately he rolled open the scroll on the table that had been decorated and covered by a golden material which had gemstones hanging down from it.

“She wants the rebellion to start in two days and want my sister’s body to be moved tomorrow, whatever it takes. It’s a royal order” Saph concluded meeting Greens eyes.

“I guess she did lose her baby” Saph muttered softly.

“We have to send someone in to tell my mother she’s being too hasty on things” Saph declared.
