THE FORSAKEN ANGEL

Episode 40-Preserving the princess's body.

After the escape from Vera and her insane mate, the queen and Opal went East while Sapphire left the rest of the Angel population who were still loyal to the queen west.

"Mother...I don't think this is actually possible" Opal worried upon hearing his mother's plan for the body which the dragon had been flying with them for two days. They've hardly had any rest since they left Angel Bay but the queen didn't look affected, she seems to be constantly planning for something, something she refuse to tell even her closest child.

"What have I always told you?" Queen Angelite asked her son after they've both retracted their wings.

"We should never doubt you" Opal breathed while the queen moved towards the frozen sea.

"He careful, the ice might not be stable" Opal cautioned and the sighed and turned to face her second son.

"I'll be fine, I'm just worried we might not have enough time to pull ourselves together before Vera’s both side fuses-

"I don't know why you're so worried about it" Opal's brows furrowed tight.

"She'll be unstoppable, that power comes with immeasurable power fuelled by anger and hatred...she wouldn't mind killing anyone because at that moment-

"She could kill an angel and still retain her power, you've told me before mother. Why are we here anyway?" Opal looked around at the empty Iceland but nothing was there until the sounds of wings flapping was heard overhead.

Two very familiar girl appeared to them in all white dress while wearing white pearls accessories, looking like the princess that they are.

"Mother" Snowflake appeared out of the snowy dust of looking gorgeous as always, a standout princess...An ice princess.

"Hello sister...so you and mother have been planning this the whole time...I'm disappointed mother" Opal turned back to the queen as his eyes briefly met with Rin.

"Hi...Mother" Aquamarine walked up to their step mother. The royal family was big but not so happy family.

The queen had five wives all from different family. The queen...was from the Rhos family, the second wife Onyx was from the Metallo family and also the mother of three of the kings children, Diamond, Amethyst, and Emerald while, Aquamarine and Aquarius mother Ying was from Nero family, Jade's mother Jyle was from the Aero family, while Snowflake's mother Aseth was from the Pagos family, all whom were allowed to leave the palace after the king died, all of them eventually found their true mate after they left the palace but their children to the king still retained their title of Royalty...Royale and still enjoyed the privileges as well but nevertheless, the lines of concubines was quite different from the true bloodline, as they retained their title, they were still in a lower rank compared to the children of the queen herself.

The King loved queen Angelite the most, followed by Aseth...Snowflake's mother, then Onyxia.

Angelique, Sapphire, Opal, Angela...the queens four surviving children...the queen 7 children during her three century with the king but three died while fighting for humanity but Angelique was the first of them all, the first born of King Kyrio...she was already two centuries old when she was taken from her body, she was always feared and respected by her siblings as she took after her father, just more cold...ruthless and cold.

"Even Ruis!?" Opal exclaimed in shock as Ruis appeared in the sky to join them.

"They have a role to play-

"Have Jade deliver my message?" The queen asked Snowflake and she nodded.

Snowflake was known by her unique features of pure white hair, she was as white as snow, and could also be called an Albino...even her brows were white, but she was the most cherished by the queen out of all the concubines children. After the queen lost Angelique, she took a strange liking to her, probably because she was closer to her mother than the others and also, she bared some unique features with princess Angela...she wasn't an Albino like her but she had extremely long white and shimmering white hair.

"Start" The queen ordered confusing Opal even more.

"Start what mother?" Opal inquired but the queen had no intention of explaining herself to him so she just move back pulling him with her.

Snowflake being from the Pagos family could control ice so she split away the ice over the frozen water, while Ruis and Rin willed something that was beneath the water. Opal paid undivided to what his younger siblings were doing, all that was hard was noises of metal hitting each other beneath the water. Ruis and Rin made a unique bending skill by slowly dancing round then make an incredible move that had them jumping up and landing on the floor with their fist deep in the ground. The action throw what looked like a huge casket from the bottom of the frozen river. Rin and Ruis didn't stop...using water around they moved the heavy metal over the water and slowly moved it to the shore.

The queen moved towards the golden metal that had different carvings and embodiments on it. Just as the queen was tracing the markings on the huge casket. Flapping wings could be heard from a distance, Opal looked up then got himself ready for an external attack but the image started to form. It was his step father.

"Aven" He muttered as the man landed in his brown tunic and rugged face. He was a warrior so he was looking more like it, his face was rough and his arms though full of hair was scarred, Aven was the queen destined mate, a friend to the old king but the king granted her the permission to be with her mate before he passed away as it was treason to lay with the kings wife. The king made the queen regent until his true heir assume the throne.

"I came as fast as I could" His rough husky voice let out and the queen turned to be welcome in his arms. He was amongst the few warriors that led the queen's loyal angel out of the city but they had plans and Saphhire had relayed the plans to him.

"I'm so sorry for-" The queen shut his eyes as Aven decided to apologize for the death of the very first child they had together but lost.

"You need not apologize for that" The genuine smile on the queen's face was confusing to Opal because the queen don't take losing a child so well, he'd seen her lose control anytime any of her children died, she was almost unstoppable, the rage and bitterness that followed the event was always known by every single person in the city but seeing the queen not minding about losing her first child with her mate; made him worry, it was either the child was alive or she's killing several demons at the moment because cutting off Claus hands would not satisfy her bitterness.

Aven in his leather shoe slowly walked up to the heavy metal and placed his hand over it, he forced it open and inside was an incredible diamond sealed body shape. The inside of the metal was made of diamond which formed out the shape of a body; it was starting to come together for Opal, they were going to place his sister's body in the casket, but he still had no idea how their mother was sure water would not get into the body.

"Do you mind? Brother?" Ruis called Opal's attention towards princess Angelitique's original casket and he slowly walked up to it to lift the body. With Rin and Snowflake offering a hand they were able to carefully place the princess in the diamond casket that had been lifted from beneath the frozen river.

"But mother...water could inflate the body" Opal worried but as usual the queen just smiled and caressed the cheek of his daughter before nodding for Aven to close it after which the queen gestured for Opal to move closer.

"You're going to watch me and aid me in what am about to do...we have to make the upper diamond fuse to the lower one and to do that we would have to infuse strong light beam along this line" The queen instructed touching a line that was beneath the part where the lid would rest.

"I think you should all move back" The queen requested and the rest of the royal family present moved back for the queen and her son to do their thing. The queen directed a strong beam into the line and Opal watched first before joining her and he watched as the light beam travel down the line and all around it. They didn't stop until after several minutes when the queen shut her light off.

"That's enough" She said to Opal who stopped afterwards, to verify if what they had done had worked, Aven moved to the casket and have the heavy lid open all that opened was the metal lid, Opal figured...his sister was just cemented in a diamond because Angelique's body could still be seen but beneath the shining surface. The queen nodded to Aven and the metal lid was returned before she moved back and allow Rin, Ruis, and snowflake sink back the body.

"It's going to be safe there...Vera would find the body before us and she would attempt to destroy it but it has been protected" If the queen talked like that, Opal knew his mother had been seeing the chief Kairos family. He had been reading into the future Opal was certain.

"Now you'll all assume your positions-

"Mother what positions?" Opal asked for clarification.

"Opal would lead the Angel's in the northwest, Snowflake would lead those in the south, Saphire is leading the North as we speak...we have to fight Chaos if we want our powers to be back in full, I would go to my daughters...I would prepare both of them for what is to come, Aven will lead you to the people you're supposed to lead Opal, Rin, Ruis,Snow...you can leave now" The children bowed in respect before extending their wings that had been folded at their back, spreading the wings they leaped into the air and start flapping away.

The queen walked up to her mate and smiled.

"I'm so sorry things are the way they are now" She apologized tracing his rough but still handsome face. Aven moved closer to his wife and hugged her tight feeling her emotions overwhelm him, though she was confident and all...she was still scared...they disengaged and was about to separate when Aven pulled her by the head and clash his lips with hers. Opal turned away, unable to watch the scene and after a couple of minutes they were finally able to let each other go. Opal left with Aven while the queen started to fly towards Los Angeles.
