Episode 55-A whole new world

Damian froze immediately he walked outside their mansion gate to see a guy passing with an extra pair of limb.

“Ella” Damian croaked out in terror.

“What is it?” Ella asked looking towards the direction he had his eyes fixed.

“Are you seeing what I’m seeing? Why does that guy has four hands? Why does that girl has eyes like that of a snail? What is going on? I feel like I’m going crazy right now” Damian felt his stomach rumble in discomfort.

“Are you still sick?” Elle asked finding Damian rather strange.

“I think I am really seeing things, I have to find Crystal quick” Damian concluded moving hastily down the street while sticking to Isabel’s advise; not looking into any monster in the eye.

“Damian, you wanna explain what is going on with you, you are acting rather strange” Ella noticed as Damian seems quite lost while they stood at the bus stand waiting for a bus.

“I don’t know…I have absolutely no idea” Damian responded absentmindedly as he was concentrated on the girl licking ice-cream with her extremely long tongue, that would definitely be competing with a chameleon’s tongue.

“But there is someone who can explain to me why I am suddenly seeing things, I just have to go find her” Damian concluded finally looking away from the girl.

“Okay, I hope what you’re saying is true” Ella sighed then bring out her phone from her jackets pocket after her ringtone rang out with a disturbing level of volume.

“Hi mom” She called into the phone before looking at Damian who was also now looking at her; both wondering what their mother want to be calling them.

“We are heading to school to see Damian’s friend, we’ll be back shortly” Damian finally understood her mother’s reason for calling.

“Okay mom, bye” Ella completed her call and turned to Damian wanting to explain but Damian cut her off.

“I know she just wanted to know what we are up to” He filled right when Ella opened her mouth to explain things to him.

“Here comes the bus” Damian announced wanting to go in but the girl who had been licking ice-cream overtook to he quickly shifted back to allow her to pass.

“Thank you mister” The girls eyes danced and Damian forced a smile before climbing unto the bus with Ella. He almost tripped when he saw about 5 peculiar individual in the car. He felt like crying but only groaned and sniffed as he filled up an empty space on the bus with Ella.

“You look like you might vomit any minute, are you okay?” Ella questioned and she shook her head before he gagged on seeing a woman eating flies behind the bus.

‘I don’t think I’ll survive the day like this’ Damien mentally prepared himself for the worst.

“Damian, you don’t look to well” Ella worried as Damian’s colour start to drain off from his face.

“I think I’m still sick, I probably should go back to the hospital” He guessed feeling his body temperature increase gradually.

“Should I call mom then? Or probably head back home?” Ella stated but Damian was not sure which of the options will best suit him because he urgently wanted to see Crystal.

“I’ll manage, I just need to get to school” Damian smiled but he kept feeling sick to his stomach soon the bus was pulling over at an interjection that was across his school. He paid off immediately and get off the bus to throw up making Ella even more worried.

“That feels good” Ella frowned wondering what he meant by vomiting feels good.

“Can we go now?” Ella asked as Damian stood to catch a breath.

“Yeah, we can start going now” Damian agreed before they both headed towards the sidewalk that led to their school. Damian’s legs grew weak on reaching school to realize it wasn’t it wasn't any better.

“This cannot be happening” Damian muttered as she looked around the school premises to see different peculiar students all mixed with the normal. Ella who had been staring up at him in confusion sighed heavily in exasperation.

“You might need a doctor-

“At this point, I don’t think a doctor can help me” Damian replied walking into the school to speak to any normal student he could find. Instant relief washed over him after his eyes fell on one of his classmate.

“Josh,thank God-” You’re human. He completed in his head before drawing him to a corner.

“Josh, have you seen Crystal her new friend Helen?” Damian inquired.

“No, I don’t know if it’s because of the rumor some people are spreading because-hold on a second how are you? You were poisoned yesterday” Damian wondered how serious the poison was that it made him instantly stopped talking.

“I’m just glad you’re okay; because of yesterday’s incident some people started spreading rumors that school wasn’t going to hold today…many students aren’t present. Including Crystal and her friend-

“Do you by chance know where she lives?” Damian further questioned but Josh shook his head.

“Do you know someone who might?” Damian doesn’t mind that he sound very desperate but he needed to put an end to whatever it is that was wrong with him.

“I don’t know…probably the school registrar might” Josh responded and Damian’s shoulders sagged feeling down all of a sudden, he knew the registrar would never tell him, it was something private but it’ll be in the record definitely. Damian decided at once, if he asked the registrar nicely and she didn’t tell him…he was going to break into her office.

“Thanks Josh, it’s was nice seeing you” Damian smiled shaking Josh briefly but Damian jumped immediately he turned because he had a tail.

“Oh my god he has a tail” Damian whimpered under his breath but his breath seized immediately he saw Josh pause, he slowly turned to look at him with a suspicious look on his face but Damian smiled trying to act as casual as she could. Then he turned to realize his sister was no longer by his side.

“Ella” He called out but she wasn’t anywhere around, so he started to look for her. He walked deeper into the school avoiding as many peculiar looking humans around, she hurried down different hallway hoping to run into his sister but she was nowhere to be found, he stopped immediately he reached the registrar’s office. He weighed his options, he wanted to continue looking for his sister but also want to find Crystal’s address.

“Ella is a grown up, she’s probably with one of her friends” He concluded walking towards the door to the office and planting three consistent knocks but there was no response so opened the door and get in after looking left and right the hallway making sure he wasn’t seen by any student.

Soon he started searching through the neatly arranged files, hoping to find where his class records where kept, eventually he found it and opened it. It took him several minutes before he found Crystal’s files. He let out a sigh of relief immediately after he found it but he heard footsteps approaching afterwards so he tried to quickly return back the file placing it back improperly for fear of being caught but he couldn’t leave the office before the registrar made her way in a her tight black knee-length skirt that matched the suit she had on her shite shirt. She was still the same to Damian until he realized she  had extra limb that were in form of tentacles.

“Oh lord” he muttered under his breath.

“Oh Damian, what are you doing here?” She probably still thinks of him as a normal kid so, he decided to play along but his act was cut before it even started because Josh barged in without knocking.

“I think he can see through” Josh relayed to the registrar who slowly turned back to Damian that was now looking dumb.
