Chapter 14 Sadie Nora I stood in a cemetery, watching Matthew place flowers on a grave. When I mentioned Sadie, this wasn’t what I meant. Matthew brushed grass clippings away from her headstone, then stood up. “After Sadie died, I would visit her grave every day. I thought it would keep her close to me.” Matthew looked at the headstone. “You don’t have to talk about what happened.” Matthew glanced at me. “You need to know.
