Cindra’s POV I tried to think about anything else, but as soon as I got out of that dress and closed the door to my bedroom, I sank onto the edge of my bed and stared out the window. Tears streamed down my face. A bird drifted past, and I tried my best to focus on anything but the sight of Kora getting out of the carriage flashing through my mind.
