"Where are you going? I was about to call you because we are about to eat breakfast. Why do you seem in a hurry?" My mother asked me who immediately stopped climbing the stairs when she saw me hurriedly walking down as if it's the end of the world. Well, it feels like it's the end of the world to me since Ryker's waiting and I don't want to be late.
"I'm late for school, mom. I'll just grab my breakfast at the school canteen, I need to go," I replied and almost tripped as I make my way down the stairs.
"Can you wait for a minute? You don't have to buy food, I can wrap you up some food so you can have something to eat at school."
"No, I really need to go now, mom. I'll eat the food later, mom." I kissed her on the cheek and then quickly left the house. She didn't stop me anymore
