Maddox's POV
"I don't know, Maddox. I really think that my family is hiding something from me" Zelda says again.
I know they are hiding the whole hunter ordeal but it is not my place to tell her either. That's her family. They should be the one revealing that to her. They should be the one telling her what the family is upto.
Even if they reveal it to her, she is going to take it well. She already knows the existence of supernatural beings anyways.
"Ask them. Why won't you?" I ask her and she looks at me. Her hazel eyes boring into mine.
"I don't know. They all seem to like Ophelia more. Not that I am jealous or something.. I love Ophelia more than anyone too. But sometimes I just want to be part of the family, you know. But every single time I feel like an outcast" she whispers.
