Maddox's POV
I look around once and throw Troy's dead body into the woods. I did not bring my car and everyone in the pack now pulled up the gates.
Zelda and Ophelia are at the pack too. I personally called Steve to say they are with me and safe. Ever since the incident during Nathan's party, Steve and Candice have been trusting me more. I don't know if that's for my own good or bad.
I just sit behind a nearby bush and pull out my phone. I randomly open and close it not knowing what to do exactly.
I think of Zelda. She said she tried to hurt Nathan. And Nathan also got arrested for abuse on Ophelia. I don't know the whole story because I was busy getting rid of Troy, but I know that whatever happens.. I will stand by her.
