I stand there outside the guest room and watch Edgar sleep peacefully. Apparently they said vervain was in his system and it is not the diluted version either.
"I just want to know who is behind all of this" I say and look at Ian.
He looks at me and I see he is equally serious too. He just nods at me and looks at someone behind me. By the scent I understood it's Lucia.
I turn around and she has Russel in her arms. I mentally make a note to stop by her place and drag her mate out up to borders and ban him.
It's not about Lucia taking care of Russel while she should be doing her duty. It's about how he doesn't even take care of his own son. He doesn't even do anything for the pack. The only reason he is still here is because he is Lucia's mate.
