LUCY : Jesus , Jesus don't come closer ( she moved back on the floor ) who are you ? ( she stared as the tall , handsome , long haired guy in front of her )

LUKE : holy s**t ! where am i ?

LUCY : I should be asking you , who are you !

LUKE : I'm Luke

LUCY : why should I care ( she tells )

LUKE : I don't know , you asked me

LUCY : ( tries to stand up ) Oww ( she holds her waist in pain ) you want to break my waist

LUKE : sorry I didn't ( he moves closer )

LUCY : no no stay back ( she jumps on the bed ) stay away , stay away in Jesus's name

LUKE : wait what ? ( notices the necklace )

LUCY : get what

LUKE : the necklace on your neck , where did you get it

LUCY : ha ! Lucy you're talking to spirit men in your bedroom

LUKE : spirit ? What spirit ? I'm not a spirit

LUCY : then what the heck are you ?

LUKE : look I don't have time for this just tell me where you got the necklace on your neck

LUCY : and what if I don't ?

LUKE : because I'll kill you if you don't ( he says in frustration )

LUCY : what ! ( she moves back ) Okay it was one guy like that , he gave it to me , I didn't mean to put it on its just that .....

LUKE : wait what do you mean one guy like that , which guy ?

LUCY : how should I know ? He just came and gave it to me to protect it , then these other people chased and when they caught up to him they shot him

LUKE : did you get his name ?

LUCY ; look spirit you're asking a lot of

LUKE : name ! ( he snaps )

LUCY : I think they called him Lawrence ( she says frightened )

LUKE : no no no no no ( he falls on his knees )

LUCY : wait , what happened ? ( she asks in confusion )

LUKE : Do you know if they killed him ?

LUCY : yeah yeah , they were like " tell us where it is " and he was like " over my dead body " and they were like okay Pow Pow pow ( she makes gunshot noises ) so who is he ?

LUKE : my elder brother ( he tries to hold back his tears )

LUCY : ohh ( her eyes widen ) maybe he did not die , I mean there are people who survive multiple gunshots too

LUKE : ( he throws a glance at her ) stop

LUCY : oookay ( she quietly sits on the bed for a while ) no offence spirit boy but can you leave my house

LUKE : I'm not leaving without the necklace ( he stands up )

LUCY : trust me I really want to give it to you so you can leg out but the freaking thing won't come off ( she yanks the necklace )

LUKE : what do you mean by it won't come off ?

LUCY : Oh spirit boy are you deaf too ( she asks in a sarcastic tone ) I was trying to take it off before you popped out of nowhere ( she gasps ) you're a genie

LUKE : Oh stop , no like seriously stop

LUCY : you can't deny it

LUKE : that's not my problem , how do we get the necklace off you ?

LUCY : how about we hammer it out ( she says jokingly as she rolls her eyes )

LUKE : good idea

LUCY : what ! ! ( she says shocked )

LUKE : yes na , do you have a tool kit ?

LUCY : u - up there ( she says slowly pointing at the top of her wardrobe )

( Luke brings down the tool kit , opens it and carries a hammer , Lucy turns the hook of the necklace to the front and places it on her table , Luke raises the hammer to smash it when )

LUCY : wait ! wait ! Jesus what am i doing ? It's obvious that you're just trying to kill me

LUKE : ( rolls his eyes ) girl just put the necklace on the table so i can get this over with

LUCY : okay , okay Lucy next time you will not collect things from strangers ( she sets the necklace on the table and begins to recite Psalm 23 ) The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want...

LUKE : are you being serious ?

LUCY : ..... he restores my soul ...... ( she finishes reciting it , he hits the hammer on the necklace and the hammer breaks )

BOTH : Jesus !

LUCY : blood of Jesus ! Lucy who sent you ? who sent you to wear necklace

( she laments with her hands on her head as she paces round the room )

LUKE : okay just calm down let's try another way

LUCY : you and who ? God forbid

LUKE : so what do we do then ?

LUCY : okay how about you just leave and I'll find a way to give it to you later , you have a phone right ?

LUKE : yeah ( he brings it out of his pocket )

LUCY : here ( she gives her phone to him ) give me your num ber I'll call you when I'm ready

LUKE : ( puts in the number and then pauses staring at the phone screen ) s**t !

LUCY : what ? ( she asks confused )

LUKE : why is the date on your phone 15th September 2023

LUCY : because today is the 15th of September 2023

LUKE : what do you mean today is ... ( he pauses for a while and then chuckles ) does that mean it worked ? did i make it ?

( he paces round the room )

LUCY : made what ? what did you make ? ( she looks very confused and snatches her phone away from him )

LUKE : I'm from 2019 , i travelled through time ( he smiles excitedly )

LUCY : ( stares at him dumbfounded ) what ?

LUKE : I'm serious I'm from 2019 I time travelled on a mission and although some things went wrong I made it but I expected that my brother would have already gotten the necklace and gotten killed , the only way I have a chance if saving him is with this necklace,I need you to try your hardest please

LUCY : ( she looks concerned) what is this necklace

LUKE : it's the main power source , without it I can't go home or save my brother

LUCY : okay I'll try my best but you have to leave fast my parents will soon be back

LUKE : where will I go ?

LUCY : I don't know , if what you're saying is true then your family should be here go find them

LUKE : okay ( he nods . She leads him outside then escorts him to an extent before coming back to her room )

LUCY : ( lays in her bed and sighs heavily , about a minute or two later she hears a sound , she raises her head and sees Luke ) blood of Jesus ! ( she jumps on the bed ) What are you doing back here ?

LUKE : I swear I don't know how I got back here I just got past the gate and BOOM ! I'm back here

LUCY : what do you mean " BOOM "

LUKE : I think it's the necklace maybe I can't go far away from it

LUCY : you p*****t , you just don't want to leave

LUKE : ( rolls his eyes ) if you don't believe me let's go together )

LUCY : fine ( she escorts him to the estate's gate ) ta - da see nothing happened

LUKE : don't be stupid , i said when I'm far away from it

LUCY : okay , then I'll go to my room , don't follow me ( she goes back to her house , enters her room and slams the door , she looks around and doesn't see him ) of course he's just a stupid...

LUKE : Ta - da ( gives her an " I told you so look )

LUCY : s**t ! ( she jerks up )

LUKE : ( rolls his eyes ) from Jesus to s**t

LUCY : how did you ...

LUKE : I don't know , I guess till I leave I'm somehow connected to that stuff ( he points at the necklace )

LUCY : no no no that's not good

ROSELINE : Chizaramekperem !! ( her mother calls her from downstairs )

LUCY : s**t my parents are back ( she panics )

LUKE : so what do we do now

LUCY : ( thinks fit a while then snaps her fingers ) Martin

LUKE : who's Martin

ROSELINE : Chizaramekperem ! ! ( she calls again )

LUCY : Martin is my best friend who lives next door ( she rushes her words )

LUKE : okay who's Chizaramekperem ? ( he begins to chuckle

LUCY : ( gives him a stern look ) shut up ( the door flings open and Luke pulls her behind it )

LUCY : Ma ( she slowly comes out with Luke holdings her hand )
