Mrs Amanda Lonald doesn't say anything to her Emeka, as she knows that he doesn't want to marry Chioma, and she doesn't also want to stress on the conversation again.
Emeka' walks downstairs to the dinning room to have dinner with his mother, as they both sit in silence, as Arinze and his father ain't around.
Through with having his dinner, Emeka picks up a table napkin to wipe his lips, and he thanks his mother.
"Thank you mom."
"You're welcome" Mrs Amanda respond as she watch Emeka stand up and exit the dinning room, while Nora steps out from the kitchen and tidy up the whole dinning table.
Mrs Amanda stand up next and she returns back to her chamber to rest.
