REVERIE OF THE AWAKEN MIND

Chapter 14

"Stanley, we both know that, that fired ball is not something ordinary. That was the very first time that came into our land. We need to what was that and where it came from. We are protecting our world, not only the Holy Kingdom but the entire Holy Land," the director said seriously.

They were having a royal exclusive meeting where in there's Kean, Camille, Hailey and Stanley sitting in the chair along with the royal councils in Holy University. They were discussing the unknown and mysterious fired ball that fell in the Holy Land's premises practically in the Holy Kingdom's area.

They can't be just stay cool and complacent with anything that seems to be important and all of them agreed that the fired ball wasn't an ordinary fired ball from whoever had the ability of making a fire and it was just a strike. They all agreed that it was different for it didn't cause any wildfire knowing that it landed in the place where dry plants are there all over the area.

They couldn't give any information about the possible thing that feel into their land but the councils insisted that they have to find it. They have to know what's with that fired ball. They were protecting Holy Land against demons and even with the fact that the entire Holy Kingdom was shielded by the blood of each Holiesters to avoid fraud of a demon. They knew that demons would find a way just to be able to get inside the Holy University.

"Director, we have already scanned the whole place but we didn't find anything strange in there. Yes, it was so mysterious that most of us here saw how is was falling down from above but there was no signs — any signs of it in there. The mountain was clear, no burnt dried plants, nothing at all," Prince Stanley answered and the entire council as well as his other Royal friends are listening with him and had their eyes locked on him.

The Director looked at him in his very serious look. He was about to speak when Kean butt in that made all of them turn their heads on him.

"We can try to find it in the other side of the mountain," he spoke. "But we will not be promising anything that we can n have it when we get back in here, because I am one hundred percent sure that it didn't fall in the other side. It fell in the side we had checked." He sounded a little pissed and a bit sarcastic and it made the director narrow his eyes as he looks at him.

"It's impossible for you guys to find nothing in there when we all know that you were in the right place. We all saw how it fell in that place ---"

"Correction, director. We saw it was falling in that part of the mountain but we didn't see it landed in the ground," Stanley cut him.

Camille and Hailey looked at each other like they were talking something in their mind. Kean and Stanley noticed that and it seems like they have already knew that was the thing that possibly running in the mind of these two.

"Excuse me, Director." Camille raised her hand as she made a voice in the room. The Director gave her an attention as well as the other royal council with them. She turned to meet Lady Penelope's gaze. "Lady Penelope, have you noticed an absence of your student or students perhaps from your class?" she asked that made the Lady Penelope narrow her eyes in confusion at her.

"Yes," Lady Penelope answered directly, confused why would she asked her such question. "However, they were from class 2, so I don't think their absence and presence in my class matters," Lady Penelope announced.

She has to cover up the reason why these two class 2 Holiesters wasn't able to attend class yesterday for she had an idea why, and she doesn't want any questions from any of these Holiesters with her even if she was certain that they were in her side.

"We bumped their uphill," Hailey mumbled that made everyone gasped and looked at her like she was kidding.

Everyone knew that none of the lower classes Holiester has permission to enter the mountain. Even if they had powers to protect themselves, they weren't strong enough to protect themselves from the wild animals. Wild animals in the forest are even more stronger than power of the class 2 and they would've just give problem to the Palace if something happened to them.

Lady Penelope gasped upon hearing Hailey's announcement. She thought the two was just staying in their homes, waiting for their wounds to heal, especially Gillian who she thought she killed. She knew Amara will survive, she can feel the strong ability in her, she can feel how of a beast her power is, she was just holding back but she seems to be mastered her ability. She can feel that she knew every single detail of her power.

And even with that fact, she was shocked that these class 2 Holiesters went to the mountain by themselves without asking permission in the time of her class. She gritted her teeth for if something happened to them in there, she will be explaining a lot about it to the King and Queen and no one would want to do that. She will be asked how the f*ck her students was able to go somewhere when it was her time of their class.

King and Queen are the fairest Holiesters in Holy Land and she knew they would never put her in VIP even if she was a Royalty.

Prince Stanley meet Lady Penelope's gaze and he saw how confused and angry at the same time she had in her eyes. Stanley turn his gaze to see Kean.

"What do you mean, Hailey?" Lady Penelope asked Hailey for a clear information.

"These Holiesters named Gillian and Amara, they were there. We saw them in the exact place where we were supposed to search the thing that fell in there at the night," Hailey explained.

"How did the two of them came into the mountain? And you mean, they got their first before the four of you got there?" The Director asked.

"Yes Director, that exactly what it is," Camille answered, shrugging her shoulder.

"Did you gave them permission to go there, Lady Penelope?" The one royal council member asked that made made Lady Penelope looked at her like she was surprised to hear her name.

"Of course not!" Lady Penelope immediately answered. "Why would I send a student in the forest when they're not allowed? Plus, I don't have permission to tell any of the Holy University's student to go uphill and find something. And besides they are class 2," she added and the other council members agreed.

"But we have no idea what they were doing in there," Stanley spoke. "They weren't seem to be looking for something, they were just looking strolling at the place."

"If that so, we should not bother ourselves with that class 2 Holiesters, at the end of the day, they were class 2 and they are not important. If they chose not to attend classes, that's their choice, when they failed the monthly exam as well as the battle, they will be kicked out from the Holy University. If they went somewhere during class hour, that was their choice as well," the council member said.

"But why did they go there? What if something happened to them? Did they even realized that if something happened to them during class hour, the Director and Lady Penelope will be explaining a lot to the King and Queen?" Camille retaliates.

"Nothing happened to them, Camille. Let them stay out of the Royal business, they're not part of it. Don't waste your time to someone like them, they are not important," the other council member said and emphasizes the word "not".

" I was just thinking, what if they knew that something really strange and mysterious was there and they have already found it?" Hailey calmly said trying to get everyone's attention. When she met everyone's gaze, she shrugged her shoulder and crossed her arms in her chest.

"They would know that they should hand everything they found somewhere else to the council if they don't want to get punished. That thing was mysterious. It could be dangerous for everyone didn't know what was it." The director said, thinking that Hailey's remarks was kind off possible.

"That if they don't knew there was something in there and that we were looking for something in there," Kean said.

Hailey smiled at him and said, "we wouldn't know if you won't ask them."

"I will let you handle that, Prince Stanley. I want you to ask some question to the class 2 Holiesters. I don't want to waste my time with them. Just please keep this one to the King and Queen, I will try to ask the graduates to look at the other side of the mountain." The director said before the meeting were called dismissed.

Stanley a was walking with his friends in the hallway trying to scan his eyes around the place they were passing by. Amara's name was quite famous in the Holy University despite of her being not active with the activities in here with the royalties. She don't get along with the royals and that's what he noticed in her.

Though, the first thing that would come in Holiesters mind was that she is Kean's sister but when she step up Hailey, she gain the good name. Plus she don't join any commotion the students have. She and her best friend always made sure not to get involved with anything.

"Your sister is so clever, Kean. She knew that we were looking for something they probably found," Camille said rolling her eyes in frustration and had her arms crossed in her chest.

"You can't say that, Camille. We didn't see anything with them," Stanley seriously said.

"Aren't you worried that if something happen to them in that mountain, Lady Penelope and the Director will be explaining a lot to the King and Queen? Stan, we don't give a f*ck to lower classes. We have to protect royalties."

Stanley stopped walking when she heard those words from Hailey's. He slowly turn his head to look at her. Hailey was always the type of the Princess that she gets what she wants. Looking so damn just careful and finesse when she's around with other Holiesters and he knew that. They grew up together so he knew how Hailey's mind works.

"Hailey, I know the King and Queen. They were fair and square. It was just the other Holiesters wp didn't treat the lower classes matters. The Director, the council, the other royalties, they looked really down class 1, class 2 and the others just because they weren't wealthy as they are but my parents, they don't think like that, so next time. Do not bring up the King and Queen in the conversation we both know won't have something to do their fairness," he seriously said leaving Hailey and Camille stunned with his words.

He hate it when others brought up the term King and Queen to the conversation that seems so cruel against lower classes. He just don't want any misunderstandings with the royals for they were the group that supports and help his parents in ruling Holy Kingdom and to make sure that peace is there. Especially to protect Holy Kingdom.

His parents are busy protecting the Holy Land to make sure that the enemy won't get a chance to enter the Kingdom once again. And that is why other royalties have their own duties because the King and Queen assigned them to protect it's premises and the Holiesters. However, they were abusing lower classes to get what they want and he knew that.

He just don't want to meddle with their business and he wants the King and Queen to catch them in action.

"What was that?" Camille mumbled as she went back to her senses after Stanley turn his back at them and Kean followed him. "Did he just sided those girls?"

"He didn't and he will never, Camille. Stanley is the Prince of Holy Kingdom and he will never go side with the lower classes. He knew that the King and Queen are fair but he isn't because if he is, he won't let the director and the council said those words towards the importance of life of these lower classes," Hailey said smirking.

She knew Stanley for so long. So she knew that he also wants power. He is way to different from his parents for he didn't tell them a thing about how the leaders works. Stanley was a brat himself — she thought of it and she swears she's right and was never wrong about Stanley. She knew he was always in her side, never with the other royals and most especially never with the lower class.

"She just happened to be Kean's sister but she is not a princess and she will never be. I don't like the contour of the tongue that girl has. She don't seem to be afraid with us," Camille retaliates while remembering all tbe scenes they had with Amara. There was never a time that they made Amara shut her mouth, she always had a chance to speak up and made her irritated.

Why the f*ck she noticed it so late.

"I was giving her the peace of her life because I want to maintain the cleanliness of my name. I don't want anyone and anything to see me using my power bringing other Holiesters down beneath me. But, she became different right now, I am now not liking her presence and her guts," Hailey angrily said. She gritted her teeth and clenching her jaw as well as her fist.

"Speaking of the devil," Camille stood up straight when she spotted Amara with Gillian came out from the University's library exit door.

They were talking with each other without minding the younger rolyalties exchanging their powers in practice in the middle of the quadrangle located in the center of the university and the side of it was the hallway towards library. They were really are something else.

Camille was about to ran after them but Hailey stopped her friend. She don't want to start a thing with Amara. She maybe not showing a hot with Amara but she was always murdering her in her mind after she took her place. She was only the strongest princess of this university and she was a royalty.

When Amara came in the picture and excelled in academic as well as in battle, she wanted to ruin her in her own hand but she stepped a-side because Amara was Kean's sister. However, she just notices something and that is Kean didn't like the idea of being a brother to a lower class Holiesters. He didn't call her his sister and she didn't accept his lower class family his family. Hailey smirked as she think of something and it seems like, she is going to win this time. She will be taking back her place and bring Amara back in her place.

"You should go and ask her, Kean," Stanley said that made Kean narrowed his eyes.

He was kind off understanding what Stanley mean but he refused to think it that way. He looked at him with confusion waiting for the him to explain further his phrase.

"You can ask him yourself, Stanley. Don't ask me to do that, you know that I will never do that," Kean answered seriously looking at Stanley with so much seriousness in his eyes.

"I once thought you were sweet as a brother, I forgot you were the brother that every sister will despise," Stanley said smirking that made Kean looked at him with daggers.

"You won't wish to fight me with me, Stanley."

Stanley laughed with Kean's words. They were the known strongest Holiesters in Holy University while Kean among the two of them have already secured the rank 1. He was selfish that he won't allow anyone to take it from him, not even his best friend, the Prince Stanley Flores himself.

Kean's father was the trusted Royalty of the King and Queen to handle the agriculture and other rules of the Holy Kingdom, including the financial department of the palace. That is why it was just so easy for them to gamble all the needs and businesses the Holy Kingdom has. His father was the worst among the worst and that keep him powerful. He grew up with his father's advice, if you want to stay on your track, never let anyone come next and even closer to you. Always keep your place guarded and be territorial.

"But you know that by now, Hailey was already cooking a plan against Amara. She will be now in a deep sh*t, Kean. We were shocked when she let once let it slide when Amara won in a battle, but now, she seems not liking having Amara around her territory."

Kean just shrugged his shoulder with those words from Stanley. He never wish to meddle with Amara's life, once is enough. Stanley saw Kean just acted like he doesn't care at all. He doesn't know what does he thinks or what thing is probably running his mind right now.

He never talk about Amara even before, he even didn't call her his sister. But the entire Holy Kingdom knew they were sisters.

"Hailey was even before free to do everything she wants to do or even if she will do it, again. I will never stop her, I won't even say a word I will just watch."
