REVERIE OF THE AWAKEN MIND

Chapter 22

"What do you mean?" Gillian asked after she told her what just happened to the ball they found at the mountain.

She then took it out of her bag. She was confident having this crystal ball in her bag and brought it with her around the Holy University after it changes it appearance. It's now looking like a normal crytal ball and Gillain can tell that as well.

"Look at this," she said looking at her best friend who are now narrowing her eyes looking at the crystal ball she was holding and looking at her well. "Whatever, you have in mind, it was it, Gillian."

She was complacent that nobody can hear them talking for they were having lunch and just like the old times, they were spending lunch time at this huge branch of the tree in an almost nor 8 to 10 ft high.

"How?" Gillian asked and obviously she was wondering how did it happened.

"I don't know, but the dancing elements kind off connected to my water. Gillian, they're inside my body and I can feel them. Here," she then showed and released a water ball just like what she did with her mom.

"What do you mean? Amara, there's no changes in your water," Gillian responded while looking intently at the water. It was indeed looking like that, looking like nothing really did happened.

"Touch it, but be careful," she told.

Gillian was looking at her with such a narrowed eyes. She was looking at her as well. She won't tell a thing to Gillian for her to know if it worked to any Holiesters. She secretly put a shield around Gillian just like what she did to her mother to make sure that nothing bad is going to happen.

Gillian didn't ask anything and now slowly keeping her hand closer to the water ball she has in her hand. Amara was wondering why did this thing happens and why of all Holiester, she was the one that can even touch. She was afraid to inform it all to the council for she do not know what the heck the council would do.

The royals would never let her go, they're going to do everything they can and they will surely take those elements from her. And she do not know why there was something in her that she don't want to give them all to anybody. She wanted to keep them safe and she don't understand it.

Or just maybe because, she never trust the royal members of the council as well as the palace who are supposed to be the one who takes care the whole Holy Land when the King and Queen are not around which happening a lot. The Prince Stanley, she do not know what role he has in the Palace and wondered why he was acting like he didn't see the unfairness that was happening the entire Holy Kingdom.

"Ouch!"

Gillian widened her eyes looking at her holding her hand that she used to touch the water ball. Amara immediately closed her hand and the water ball gone and immediately succored her best friend.

"What happened?" she asked.

Her best friend was looking at her like something was wrong. Even glances to her hand that by now, doesn't have any water in it.

"Hot. The water ball was hot," Gillian answered that made her sigh.

That only means that, the fire element was the reason why the water got hot. And probably, the air added the pressure of it's element. The only thing that she needs to learn is on how the hell that she could separate these elements from each other. She can control the water very well, however, she wonder why if the fire and the air can also be used like how she did use the water. She wonder if it has it's own appearances or something.

"And I don't know how to bring it back to the coldness. G, I couldn't understand what hell was just happened," she responded. Gillian looked at her with such questioning eyes.

Gillian was about to speak when this loud kind of a bomb blown up from the north side of the Holy University. Both of them widened their eyes and gasped in shockness, even made them looked at each other with both wondering looks.

"What was that?" Gillian immediately asked.

Amara being the an individual who couldn't have peace without knowing what just happened that would surely bother her mind the whole time, she then used her ability of looking somewhere far. Through this ability of her, she could see a thing that are kilometers away from her direction.

Her eyes narrowed when she spotted a strange Holiesters wearing a whole bodied black cloak and was covering their faces. She couldn't tell who are these Holiesters standing at the grass full side of the Holy Kingdom. That part of the Holy Kingdom was never been visited with any of the students for it was called the forbidden forest of the University.

It has the most dangerous and wild animals the Holy Kingdom could name and that is why this side of the Holy Kingdom particular to the Holy University were called forbidden. She shifted her sight to the ground of the Holy University when she heard the commotion from the students, teachers and the council.

"Oh Gosh!"

She and Gillian reacted in unison after the second blow.

"G, let's go down from here," Amara said and together, they jumped and ran towards inside the corridor where the students are keeping in line getting themselves ready. The younger years were panicking while the royals in the same year with them as well as those who are going to graduate from here were also getting ready and was standing before the royal council members.

"Amara!"

Amara turned her head upon hearing her name and she their royal teacher Lady Penelope who called her. She and Gillian bowed their heads to give respect the royal teacher even if they both didn't like any royal members.

"Lady Penelope," she gave an attention to the royal teacher. The council was also looking at them both as well as the certain Prince Stanley.

Stanley was about to run and succored Amara to make sure that she will in the safest position of the Holy University. However, Hailey was fast enough to stop him for she was there standing next to Stanley and in between him with Kean.

Amara saw that, she saw how Hailey sent a death glare to her and she saw how Stanley looked at her. She couldn't tell why would the Prince come close to her when she was just a nobody. She was just a mere class 2.

"Stand in here, Amara!" she heard lady Penelope yelled and that made her looked at the royal teacher. She felt Gillain held her elbow, she just gave a nod to her best friend.

*"Get in with the crowd, G,"* she voiced out over their mind.

Gillian looked at her and shaking her head. Gillian was about to speak but an another outburst happened again that made them all panicked and ducked. The council and the royals immediately released their powers to make sure the safety of everyone in here. They were strengthening the shield that covers the whole Holy University.

Amara was having a second thought of releasing her power for she know, she still couldn't control on how to use the other element that mixed into her original power. She never knew someone that has more than 1 element being hold. Their abilities was their in their blood, ever since they were born.

She do not know who has the fire and air, but it doesn't matter.

*"Do you think you can release your power by now?"* she heard Gillian said over her mind.

She do not know which crowd Gillian gets into, she was now standing next to their royal teacher, Lady Penelope. She gulped and tried again her ability of sight to see in which part of the Holy University those creatures with that black cloak that covered their whole body was hiding nor making a chaos.

She then motioned her hand and released her water. Well, nobody would realize that her water was hot unless someone would get and would be able to touch it.

*"G, I need your help,"* she called Gillian.

*"I know what, I will take care of it,"* Gillian responded and immediately, her water ball was gone in her hand. It just became invisible — to other eyes except her and Gillian, of course.

She then throw it in the place behind that tall and huge wall of the Holy University unto where those creatures standing. She was seeing them so clear. Her eyes ability was helping her to have the best visual towards the enemy.

She saw how those creature groaned in anger when she hit 3 of them and they immediately fall down, lifeless. That one standing like commanding the group scanned it's eyes around. The one released a fire in his or her hand and throw it against the shield where the royals and council was holding right now.

Amara's eyes narrowed with the realization that her water ball was able to cross at the shield while the enemy's fire didn't. What the heck did just happened. She knew there was a shield all over, however, she was just thinking for a luck of like hitting those creatures and she did.

Stanley was just staring at Amara while he was busy doing his part of protecting the Holy University. All of them was gathered at the quadrangle, releasing their each ability to became stronger. This was the very first time that some outburst happened at the Holy University or even at the entire Holy Kingdom.

First time, since the time when the Demons tried to conquer the Holy Land.

"Someone was trying to attack the Holy University! Make sure to never let our shield loss!" The director shouted and the students immediately responded.

"What can you do, Amara?"

Amara looked at the royal teacher when she heard the woman mentioned her name. The royal teacher was looking at her waiting for her to do something.

"My power couldn't surpass the shield, Lady Penelope. We are surrounded with protect----"

"Mr. Director! Council! Royals!"

All of them looked up the moment the shield all of sudden was gone and was like melted. And a creature with this full black cloak was flying all the way to the top of the wall and now stood up before them. She was wondering what did the royals do, why did the shield was melted?

Amara almost jumped in startle when in a second, she was pulled away from lady Penelope's side and now, she was standing beside Prince Stanley.

"What happened?"

She turned when she heard Gillain's voice and she was right, Gillian was there beside her. Her best friend came close for she entered the crowd from the center.

"I don't know," she simply answered.

"Amara, stay at my back!" Prince Stanley shouted and even pulled her again and now she was standing behind him.

They were exchanging powers with this creature who invaded the Holy University. Prince Stanley has this ice and fire of a power. She wonder how the heck he manage to control both together with the fact that ice and fire really don't get along together.

"Who are you?! What are you doing here?!" The one council royal member shouted to ask.

The creature that kind off looks like standing like a Holiester didn't answer but instead laugh at the question. Amara tried to invade it's privacy of mind however, she couldn't get into this, it was blocked and for the first time that her mind reading wouldn't work.

She even tried to the others and it was all the same. They were freaking protected and whoever are protecting them, he or she must be so much powerful. In the Holy Land, there are only two Holiesters they would call the most powerful and they are the King and the Queen.

"Where are you from and why are you attacking the Holy University?" Lady Penelope angrily asked and even throw her power to these creatures. However, they were fast enough and they just simply dodged from it and they successfully did it.

What the hell?

Prince Stanley opened his arm and that caught everyone's attention for he was flying up there at their heads. He was attacking the invaders and he hit one of them. No wonder of his strength, he is the King and Queen's son. However, he couldn't defeat these invaders all by himself.

Amara immediately released her water and she mixed it with Prince Stanley's fire. Everyone gasped with what she did, the fire of the Prince didn't die instead, the water was kind off boiling. It was hot when she released it and when it was mixed to the fire the Prince has on her hand, it was became smoky.

She nodded at the Prince when he looked at her and together, they throw it towards the group of invaders. There are 9 of them and one them who acted like their leader was able to put himself in a shield and who knows what made off. The other 8 was now laying on the ground lifeless.

"One day, the Queen will again conquer the entire Holy Land. We didn't came her to attack, we came here to let you Holiester know that the Queen has risen back and ready to get her world."

The invaders voice echoed the whole quadrangle. The royals were about to attack him but the Director stopped them when the invaders raised his palm and the bodies of the other invaders faded just like a thin air.

"What are you talking about?!" Prince Stanley shouted to ask and when the invaders eyes landed to him, he smiled like an i***t.

"What a nice view to see the Prince of the Holy Kingdom. I wonder what will be the Kind and Queen's reaction if they'll have you, dead," the invader said laughing like crazy.

Stanley immediately attacked it along side with the other royals and the council. But before their attacls reached to the invaders, he suddenly disappeared.

"Make sure to check the entire University! We couldn't be complacent of their disappearance! They could've left something that would surely harm us all here!" The Director announced.

Everyone followed and through their powers, they scanned the whole University to see if those invaders have left something inside now outside and in the nearest location at the Holy University.

"I wonder how those invaders was able to break the shield," Gillian uttered that made Amara looked at her best friend.

She was thinking that thing ever since. While looking at Gillian, they kind off sharing the same thought. Although, they can talk over their minds they cjose not too and just the their eyes and stared talked about it.

"I was thinking the same," Amara responded.

"Amara, how are you? Are you okay?" Amara narrowed her eyes looking at the Prince when he really did sounded so worried when asking.

Hailey was there beside the Prince and was giving her the death glare. Kean was also there, looking at Amara with no emotion for she know what was that look means. It wad the Prince who approached her and they royals, didn't like that.

They never like the fact that the non-royal blooded Holiesters would have a conversation with the royals.

"I'm all fine, Prince Stanley, thank you for asking," she responded, bowing her head a little.

"Council officials! To the office!" The director shouted to announce and that caught everyone's attention. "Prince Kean and Prince Stanley, can I ask you two over as well?" the director added and the Prince nodded without taking his eyes off with Amara.

"I will talk to you after this," Prince Stanley said before he followed the Director.

The other students were still checking the entire Holy University, checking the weaker ones if they got hurt or something.

"What the hell is going on, Amara?" Hailey asked gritting her teeth and was looking at Amara like she wants to bring her into the ground.

Gillian immediately stood up beside Amara and Camille also did the same beside Hailey. Amara narrowed her eyes in question while looking back at this royal princess.

"I don't know that there are things that's going on, Hailey," she answered cooly.

She wants to respect Hailey for being a royal, however, this royalty doesn't even deserve respect from her. Hailey couldn't provoke her for she would never let that happen. She was a daughter of her mother, her mother whom will never let her take a step backwards when someone nor something was making a move against her.

"I really hate it when I see you talking to Stanley that's why I want you to know your place from now on, Amara. You've been quietly stealing the spotlight that belongs to me ever since when you came here at the Holy University. I hope you would realize that you and I, we are totally a different breed, Amara. I am one of the most important Holiesters the Holy Land have while you are just someone that we called nobody."

"Are you some kind off threatening me, Hailey?" she asked in her low tone.

"The Holy University has a huge problem after that unknown invader invade the University. Hailey, will you please leave Amara alone? She was never been interested to get into your way," Gillian added that made Hailey looked at her even more furious.

"Shut up, Gillian! I am not taking to you! Amara, Stanley would keep getting close to you, if you don't want a commotion nor a war between Holiesters and Holiesters, stay away your freaking ass on him!" Hailey hissed while staring straight to her eyes.
