"I thought we're early," Gillian whimpered when we saw the Royals inside the biggest merchandise in the City.
Though they are not complete for Royal seniors are sent in a mission so only the juniors are here but still the guards are blocking us so we won't go inside while they are still there. These Holiester are using their titles to belittle other Holiesters.
"Let them be, that is not new and those who are inside are the brats," I said, whispering so the other holiester near us won't hear what I just said.
"I want to put sand in that guard's eyes so he won't see us getting inside. How can we get our stuff if that brats and just wasting the time inside?!" my best friend angrily said.
"Let's just go in different merchandise, there are some there plus, we can also save if we buy in different merchandise," I suggests and Gillian pouted. I also want to buy my school stuff there, everyone does and that is why we worked hard and save enough money so we can buy school stuffs we wanted.
"Amara? Gillian?"
Gillian and I roam our eyes around in unison when we heard our names. My eyes narrowed when I saw the smiling girl coming to us. I gave questioning look like —who is that to Gillian and she just shrug.
"Hi," I nicely greeted her when she stopped in front of me and my best friend.
Her smile wider like a saucer and wave her hand in our faces, "hi, why do you guys looks like you are seeing ghost?" she asked with her brows raised.
"Ahm, forgive us. It's just like, we do not know who you are and you know our name," Gillian said. The girl stared the two of us and smile again. What's with her? Is she okay? She looks like a happy kid who lives somewhere in a big or wealthy town of Holy Kingdom.
"Ops, I'm sorry, my bad. I didn't introduce myself to the two of first. I am Marj, Kean's cousin," she said, smiling sweetly.
Me and Gillian gasped and immediately bow our head. We are such a fool not to realize that she can be a Royal. Yeah, I did think of her being in the wealthy town of the Holy Kingdom but why the heck it didn't cross mh mind that she is royalty. She is my brother's cousin, she is living in the palace.
"I'm sorry, Miss. I-I didn't know. I'm sorry, it's just our first time to see you, forgive us," I immediately said. We didn't mean to be disrespectful but I am telling the truth that it's our first time to see her.
She must be a couple of years older than me.
"No problem. That won't cause any harm to any of you two. Don't worry, I am not a b*tch," she jokes that made me awkwardly smile.
Did she think that we might think she's bad? Well, some royals that we encounter are so entitled that they would punish those who never listen to them, except my brother that also seems to be not my brother.
He barely visit mom. That makes mom and I in our lives. He seems like didn't exist in our life. There are times that we bumped him in the holy market and he is with his royal friends, he didn't even just say hi or hello to mom. I saw how mom looked at his back walking away without saying anything.
I do not know what he thinks. I don't want to think that he is ashamed to be mom's son because he is royal. But when he save mom from our town's official that lessen the thought that I have in mind. Well, sometimes I think that he just did that because he saw how mom cried in pain that time and even if she is not mom, there's also a chance that he would still help her.
"What can we help you, Miss?" I asked her. I don't want to think about my brother any further. His life is his. Mom and I, we are contented of what we have. I am doing such good grades in Holy University and mom is making enough money for us not to starve in everyday.
"I just got back here in Holy Kingdom. We were sent into another kingdom for mission that is why this is the first time that you met me. But, the Holy University head said that I can ask you Amara for help about this crystal."
I looked at the crystal she showed seriously. It was so beautiful, I've never seen a real crystal in my life that is so close like this. I was about to touch it but stop when I realize who is holding it. I have to be careful with my action.
"Wow, that is so beautiful," Gillian said, captivated by the beauty of the crystal.
"I found this crystal when we are in the mission and I think there is something about this. Can you help me to know what is in there inside of this crystal, Amara? Hold it, look at the middle of this stone, that looks like a huge and deep water," she seriously said and put the crystal in my hand.
My hand shakes in nervous knowing that I am holding one of the precious things of a royal.
"Yeah, that looks like huge deep ocean but what about that?" I asked her. Gillian hold my hand and stare the stone. I carefully hold the crystal to make sure that it won't fall.
"Can you see anything about that?" she asked and I shake my head as an answer.
"I don't have the ability of seeing such deep meaning. I can only see things from afar but not this kind," I politely answered. She pouted and sighed.
My mind gets crumpled when she speak and I don't understand what she said.
"That looks like not Holy Kingdom but also not any magical kingdom around Holy. That seems, far mysterious world."
