Chapter 10: The shine from the brilliant white desert sands below was replaced by the reflection from the deep blue of the Arabian Sea. Helena never left her cabin except to tend to her aunt. Each night Gertrude and Phoebe would make her return to her cabin for a few hours. The Germans didn’t attack, and her aunt didn’t pass on.
