Leilani wakes when Hudson links her, she turns slightly to look at Connor’s serene sleeping face. He always wears a slight smile when he sleeps, he looks so soft and gentle, so unguarded. He truly is beautiful.
Leilani kisses Connor gently on the nose before extricating herself from his tight embrace, Leilani smiling at the fact that Connor sleeps so well that she never disturbs him. She has no idea that it is only in her presence that he can sleep so well. Leilani slips out of the room, closing the door behind her as she approaches the others. Terrance is sitting with the group, he raises his hands in defense.
“I won’t say a word to Connor”
“You understand why I am keeping it from him?”
