Fourteen inches of snow covered Templeton like a thick and fluffy icing on a four-tiered wedding cake. According to Channel 8 and Katy Davidson, six more inches of snow would fall by noon. Templeton became handicapped, snowbound. Some meteorologists were calling the blizzard the storm of the century, unstoppable and tyrannical. Others summed up the storm as unpredictably devious and challenging for the tristate area.
