I looked at her incredulously, unable to believe that she was speaking on Louis' behalf! It felt like a slap to the face, a stab in the back, deepest betrayal by the one I trusted most.
It looked like Louis had really focused his attention on Donna these past few days, even managing to pretend to be a proper gentleman before her.
However, only I knew what kind of person he was beneath the façade!
This guy was not some messiah, but he did have a way with women! He had Donna fooled!
