Serenity Although Alec had assured me that none of this was my fault, I couldn’t help feeling guilty. I was partially the reason this band of rogues was going to attack the pack. Every day, Alec went out to work on the barricade with the others, and everyday he came back looking completely exhausted. The little cottage had been put on hold while the work was being done to protect the pack, so I had been staying with Alec in the room he had set up for me. I didn’t mind though.
