"p*****t!" Roselyn yelled, before realizing who she had poured her spray on. The water from the spray had hit Zack in the eye, causing him to yelp in pain. Roselyn speedily turned off the spray and reached for a towel, stretching it out to him.
"Oh no, I'm so sorry! Are you OK?" After realizing that this was a public toilet and she was in the wrong.
Zack took the towel, dabbing at his face. "Yeah, I'm perfect," he said, his voice shaky. He looked up at her, and something clicked in his mind.
"Wait, you are...” Roselyn squeezed her eyes.
"sure, I am Zack Murphy, CEO of Elite Tech organization." Zack stated, relief flooding via him. "And you're Roselyn, right? From the Ariel Tech group?"
Max pointed at her badge.
"Yes, it is me," Roselyn stated, a grin forming on her lips. "I'm so sorry about the whole spray component, that became an accident. i am happy you are okay."
“Ohhh…”
"That was quite silly of me," Roselyn admitted, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. "I do not know what got over me. I just... overreacted. I'm truly sorry, I'm hoping you are not too disappointed."
She reached out and touched his hand, her eyes pleading. "I sincerely hope you won't tell my boss about this. I could get in a lot of hassle."
Zack looked down at her hand, then again up at her face. Her expression turned into a mixture of worry and apology. However he didn’t even care.
He was already getting irritated and he didn’t know why he had run away from her constant touch and quarry. Or has his phobia left?
“Now I know your name, it would be easier for me to report you.” Zack said with a straight face, before dipping his hand into his pocket and taking out his sales phone. “I don’t know how to even let you into the males rest-room.”
Roselyn looked up at the sign and bit her lips in frustration.
“I’m sorry, I had no idea.” Roselyn held his arm and he sent her hands away from him immediately. “Don’t report me.”
“But I thought I was a p*****t here?” Zack frowned.
“N-no you’re not a pervert.” Roselyn cried.
Zack lifted his phone to his ear, his finger hovering over the call button. Roselyn's eyes widened as she realized what he was about to do.
"you are a proud jerk!" she exclaimed, her voice rising in quantity. "you're simply going to get me fired, aren't you?"
Zack checked her out, a touch of amusement in his eyes. Then, he slowly lowered his cellphone.
"I won't report you," he said, his voice quiet.
"i was only joking, Roselyn," Zack said, a sly smile on his face. He saw the tears in her eyes, and his smile dwindled. "i am sorry, I didn't mean to disappoint you."
Roselyn looked at him, her expression a mixture of anger and harm.
without pronouncing a phrase, she turned and left the rest room, the door slamming close at the back of her. Zack stood there in silence, regretting his actions.
Zack left the toilet and made his way back to the group, his thoughts racing.
He questioned what had gotten into him, why he had felt the need to play this type of merciless funny story on Roselyn. As he approached his seat, he noticed his stepmother looking at him curiously.
"What took you so long inside the restroom?" she asked.
Zack's face was emotionless as he sat down. "nothing," he stated, his voice emotionless. He didn't need to talk about what had happened, he just desired to position it behind him.
He just met Roselyn and he wasn’t equipped to damage his day with some unknown stranger.
Zack's stepmother slid a pitcher of wine across the table toward him, a glance of mischief on her face.
He picked up the glass without thinking and took a sip, the wealthy taste of the wine soothing his nerves.
As he was ingesting, he observed Andrew strolling into the room, his eyes constantly on Zack. The look on Andrew's face became unmistakable - he was concerned about him.
Andrew approached Zack and leaned in near, whispering in his ear.
"We need to depart, now," he stated, his voice urgent.
Zack's eyes widened, and he pulled away, searching at Andrew with confusion.
"what's happening?" he asked.
"I’ll provide an explanation for you on the way," Andrew said, a serious expression on his face. "Please, simply come with me."
Zack slowly stood up and said his goodbyes to the group, telling them he had been sorry for having to go away so unexpectedly. His stepmother grabbed his arm, her eyes pleading.
"You're meant to offer a speech, and it is nearly your turn," she said, her voice pressing. "You cannot go away now!"
those pleadings had been devious and now not real. Andrew approached, slowly releasing his fingers from Zack, a weak smile on his face.
"I am so sorry," he said, his voice gentle but firm. "but there’s an emergency. Zack wishes to go along with me right away."
His stepmother seemed torn, butul in the end she nodded, her fingers fisted in rage.
As they walked out of the room, Zack's bodyguards accompanied them intently behind them. After they reached the parking zone, Zack ultimately spoke.
"Andrew, what is happening?" he asked, his voice filled with problems. "Why did we have to leave so all of a sudden?"
Andrew's expression grew to become serious. "isn't it obvious?" he asked. "Aren’t you feeling the effects of the toxin? I am taking you somewhere you won’t ’t act loopy. She shouldn’t have carried out this now.”
Zack became struck with fear. "The toxin?”
"What are you talking about?" Zack asked, his voice shaking. "I feel great, i am not sick."
"You are not unwell, precisely," Andrew stated, his phrases cautiously chosen. "Susan spiked your drink. the one she gave you to drink during the event , she put in a few doses so that you were going to fail at your presentation.l informed you to hold your. She up. The moment you were distracted, she had her way.”
Zack opened his mouth to ask another question, but before he could say anything, his knees buckled and he co_
Lasped to the floor.
It was true, he’s eyes began to look blurred and he couldn’t get his stability.
