Lola told Kevin that Chase wouldn't find out about anything, but Kevin doubted that. His dad was super smart. How could she hide the fact from him?
"Are you sure he won't find out?"
"Yep. No worries. When we go back, all you need to do is sneak back into your room without being noticed."
Kevin arched an eyebrow, looking at the woman before him suspiciously. They didn't get any useful clues this time. Paul had told him that it had been too long and the footage had already gone. He had tried but he still couldn’t find out. Kevin wanted to try another way to find the footage. If he got caught this time, he wouldn't have a second chance to continue his plan.
To not get caught, Lola parked the car hundreds of feet away from the mansion. Kevin jumped off the car but Lola just couldn't stop telling him to be careful.
"Don't worry," Kevin huffed as he approached the back of the mansion. Lola pulled out her cellphone and sent Cole a message, telling him to leave. Cole was happy that he finally could leave, but they had prepared macaroni. He felt a bit upset not being able to eat it. But he still could tell Kevin to finish all of it because it was his favorite food. Cole thus decided to meet Kevin for once before he left.
The window was pushed open with a creak as a small boy crawled into the room. Cole shot up from the bed and stared at Kevin in shock.
Wow… He looks exactly like me! This is so cool! Cole exclaimed to himself secretly. Kevin also stared back at him with a curious look in his eyes. Why did this boy so much like him? He was even wearing his clothes…
"Who are you?" Kevin winced as he asked.
Cole approached him and put a chubby hand on his shoulder, smiling, "We look the same. Can't you guess? I am your brother!"
Brother? Kevin was getting more confused. Daddy had never mentioned that he had a brother…
Did this boy…come with mommy? Thinking of that, Kevin's eyes lightened up. He wanted to ask this boy about mom, but the sound of footsteps outside his bedroom got closer.
Cole went nervous instantly as he turned to face Kevin, "I told the kitchen to prepare my favorite food. You need to eat more or they will be suspicious. I can't let them find out about me. I have to go!"
With that, Cole waved at Kevin and jumped out of the window.
Why couldn't he be seen by other people? Kevin couldn't get it. But since his brother asked, he felt obligated to keep the secret for him. The minute Cole disappeared, someone started to knock on his door, "Young Master, the meal is prepared. Please get downstairs and have your meal."
Kevin went downstairs full of curiosity. When he saw cheese macaroni and a huge plate of pizza, he sighed secretly…
Great, cheese…
Kevin grabbed his fork and tried to stuff those things into his mouth with a deadpan look on his face. He grimaced as he felt too much cheese in his mouth…
Ugh, cheese…
Chase's eyes narrowed as he noticed the painful look on Kevin's face. His eyes were bright when mentioned the menu, but now he ate like someone was pointing a gun at his head…
"You don't like it?" Chase asked.
"Well…" Kevin put down the fork, "You know I always like macaroni. But the chef didn't make it right. I think we probably need to change a new chef."
Kevin didn't like the taste? Was he gonna use this as a tactic to force him into hiring Lola as the new chef? Chase raised an eyebrow.
