"Because I don't want Kevin to know that I am his mom. It's still not the right time."
Mia thought for a while, "I see. I'll tell Monna when we're together alone. Don't worry, mom. We'll keep the secret for you."
A warm smile broke Lola's face as she mussed Mia's fluffy head. When they got home, Monna and Mia were both quite enthusiastic about their new brother. They brought out all their toys. But their toys were all for girls. Kevin only frowned at them, not moving or saying anything.
"You don't like them? What do you like?" Monna asked.
Mia went to Cole's bedroom and pulled out his Legos and iPad, "Do you like these? They are Cole's favorites."
Kevin took the Legos and iPad. Monna's eyes widened when she saw the speed of Kevin playing Legos, "Wow! That's amazing! You're even faster than Cole."
Kevin stared at the cute girl for a while before he said, "You can join me if you want."
Monna nodded and started to build her favorite dishes. What a little foodie. Kevin couldn’t help but smile. The scene of her babies playing together warmed Lola's heart.
Meanwhile, in the Dalton Mansion, Cole was drawing when Chase came back. Chase walked over and noticed the boy was drawing him.
"Good job," Chase smiled at his boy.
Cole looked up the moment he heard his voice, "Daddy!"
The boy looked too enthusiastic. He was completely different from what he had seen this morning. Chase was a bit confused.
"Daddy, you could stand there so I can have a reference for my painting?" Saying that, Cole started to draw. Chase didn't want to ruin his boy's work, so he just stood there, as still as a statue. Cole seemed pretty serious. He gave the painting to Chase after it was done, "Daddy, this is a gift for you."
Chase looked surprised as a smile broke his hard features. Cole also smiled back as he gestured at the man to get closer. Chase was a bit confused, but he still crouched down. Cole hugged him and left a kiss on his cheek. Chase was utterly in shock. When did his boy become so cute?
"Kevin, do you want to practice hacking skills with me?" Nothing made Kevin happier than practicing hacking skills.
Cole nodded heavily. Before they could get started, however, Kevin's phone started to ring. It was Chase's father, Mr. Dalton. The old man said Kevin's uncle just came back from aboard. He wanted Chase to come back with Kevin for a family meal.
But Kevin didn't like parties. Chase wondered if he wanted to go at all.
"Daddy, what's up?" Cole was a bit curious.
"Do you want to have a meal at your Grandpa's place?"
Grandpa? Cole's eyes were lit up the moment he heard the word. He had never seen Grandpa before. This was a great opportunity! Cole was so happy that he wanted to dance.
"Yes! Please!" Cole was all giddy and cheerful.
Chase was stunned by his enthusiasm, "Are you sure about this?"
