I raised my head when I heard a knock on the door.
“Come in.” I said as I looked down and continued to type on my laptop.
The door opened, and the first thing that hit me was her scent. At first, I thought I was hallucinating, but when I raised my head again, I saw her standing right in front of me.
I can't explain how shocked I was to see her standing there. And what confused me the more was she was smiling.
I looked at her and raised an eyebrow up.
“What can I do for you, Santiago?” I asked her.
“Good afternoon, Alpha.” she said, still smiling.
Now that is so suspicious. After our discussion yesterday, I didn't expect for her to come to me. Or maybe she is here to reject me. Now I get why she is so happy. She must be excited to finally reject me.
