Aaliyah's POV
When I realized that begging won't work when it comes to my father I decided to leave and be out of his sight.
I asked our family driver to bring me back to Augustus' mansion.
My father still allows me to go there as long as I would agree to all of his conditions.
When I arrived at the mansion I saw my Mom sitting on the couch looking all worried and when she saw me she immediately stood up and then ran in my direction.
"Oh my God Aaliyah, I told you not to go anywhere," she uttered as her hug tightened. I smiled when I felt her warmth. No matter how cruel this world would become I still feel at ease whenever I felt my mother's warmth.
After a while, my mother broke off the hug and then cupped my face and caressed me as she look at me intently.
