Just as his grand uncle had instructed, Donovan was quick to send out notice about the impromptu meeting he had called. Some of the management had shown some reluctance, even sending out memos that they were out of the country or on an important errand, until they heard who had called the meeting and rushed from wherever they were in frantic haste to make it back in time. Donovan was fairly merciless and well respected in the empire, but some of the senior management liked to give him a hard time at opportune moments, either because of their fragile egos or simply because they didn’t wanted him there and instead supported one of his other uncles. He checked his watch again to read the time. Just 2 minutes before the appointment time, and the patriarch wasn’t there in the conference room
