Centuries ago, in the period just after the great prohibition, the Giambelli’s who had always been at the eye and scrutiny of the crown, were framed and prosecuted for a crime they hadn’t committed. Many of their friends and family, thinking it the end and downfall of such a powerful family took a step back for fear that they would be caught in the crown’s whiplash. But not all them. All but the then Valentino patriach, Emilio Valentino who grew up and had a very close relationship with Donald Giambelli, the patriarch then, was the only one who stood up to the crown in their favor. The Valentino, despite enduring unbearable pressure from the crown and stigma and contempt from other members of the society, and being driven to the point of torture, he refused to reveal any information ab
