Meeting the guard

"JiaLi I want you to meet someone after dinner. Is it Okay or are you tired.. we can do it tomorrow top"
JiaLi shook her head as she spoke up.
"It's okay, I will meet the person after dinner"
JingJin nodded as he smiled and continued eating his dinner

JiaLi and her brothers followed their father as he led them to inner courtyard of JiaLi. None of them spoke up as they walk through the garden as cestrum nocturnum (Night blooming jasmine) shined with the moonlight spreading scent all over the courtyard. The side of the garden shined like pearl giving like view making it a mesmerising scene.
As they reached towards the sitting area in the garden, JaiLi saw a man standing wearing black clothes, he had slightly tanned complexion with midnight coloured hair. He had very good and muscled physique, his sword hanged from his waist, his whole aura screamed mystery. JaiLi could sense his power, this man was not as powerful as her father and elder brother but his power could be compared to his second brother.
" This is your personal guard Lie'r"
JiaLi looked with raised eyebrows as her brothers recognised him, he was trained to be a shadow guard by their own father. He is one of the three who has been trained by their father, while them being the other two. JiaLi knew they worry about her but giving her a guard is like giving her a babysitter, it is like she can never escape having a guard even in her time she had more then ten guards tagging along her.
" What is your name?"
JingJin was surprised his daughter took this news quite well, he was afraid she would be opposed to this. What he couldn't ever figure out was that Clayris was very much habitual of bodyguards following her around.
The man was surprised hearing his soon to be master, even though her voice soft and melodious it contained authority and power. He was impressed by the firmness in her voice, he looked down to meet her eyes as he got mesmerised by her green eyes. He shook his head as he answered her.
" I am called Lee Deshi"
This was the first time he kind of lost to his emotions. He has to admit that the young miss is surely a beauty, a beauty that will make you lose your senses. He was kind of upset when his master asked him to protect his daughter, he thought she must be like all those snobbish brats. But now he can tell she is nothing like that, her aura scream power but not arrogance.
JiaLi looked directly in the guard's eyes as many emotions passed through those hazel coloured eyes of his.
" He will be your guard and will be under your direct command. You are not allowed to go out without him accompanying you"
JiaLi nodded, even her brothers made her bodyguards accompany her everywhere and they personally hired some female bodyguard so they could accompany her in ladies washroom. She is thankful these ancient people didn't went that far.
She looked back at her guard as she spoke up.
" Then I will be in your care"
This surprised the guard as her father and brothers smiled with pride as they heard her humble statement.
Deshi bowed down as he accepted his position, he is thankful he didn't get masters like his friends got that made them have headache.
" Then will be leaving, protect her well Deshi"
Deshi bowed to JingJin as he replied.
" I will not disappoint you master"
JingJin and her brothers were satisfied with his answer as GangDa patted his shoulder with slight smile .
" I will come tomorrow young brother"
Deshi smiled sightly as he nodded. GangDa and HungJi patted JiaLi head as three of them took the leave. JiaLi turned to Deshi who was already looking at her waiting for her orders.
" Father must have arranged a room for you "
Deshi nodded as she spoke up again.
" Then go have some sleep our house is well guarded you only need to protect me when I am outside "
JiaLi turned as she walked towards her room as she heard Bai and Deshi following her. She didn't say anything as she doesn't know whether it is their duty to accompany her to her room or not. As she was about to enter her room Deshi spoke up.
" My room is nest to yours miss, you can call me whenever you want"
JiaLi raised her eyebrows as she nodded and went inside her room as Bai followed her closing the door on the way. Deshi stood in front of the door for about two minutes as he walked inside his room relaxing. He got ready for bed, he was trained to be shadow guard so he never had a habit to relax completely but as he was also human he closed his eyes to relax his tensed body. as he closed his he saw bright green eyes staring directly at him as he abruptly opened his eyes. He shook his head as his face flushed, 'She-is-your-master-don't-forget-that', he thought but this thought made him sad.
Bai helped JaiLi to her bath as she washed herself with warm water which helped her muscle to relax . Bai helped her put night dress on her beautiful naked body, Bai couldn't help but feel blessed being able to see such a beautiful body in her life.
JiaLi dismissed Bai as she laid down on her hard bed which was considered soft in this time period. She sighed as she closed her eyes remembering her brothers caressing her head as she was not able to sleep. She opened her eyes as she thought about her brothers, she is worried that they must be worried about her and they must have even forgotten to eat her breakfast.

A maid said as she bowed down in respect, she continued when princess told her to stop bowing.
" Dinner is ready my princess, today King want to eat with everyone"
Liling smiled happily it have been a long time since she ate with her father and her family. She knows concubines and her mother The Queen doesn't have good relationship with each other but this didn't strain her relationship with her brothers. They all loved her very much and cared for her.
Her eyes sparkled as she went to her room for getting ready for dinner she sat in front of mirror as her maids work on her. She looked at herself as she remembered green eyes, she flushed as she shook her head. She is happy to tell everyone that she met her cousin JiaLi and also saw her beautiful face.
She arrived in the dinning room as she saw her brothers sitting, she took her place as she smiled at all of her brothers. Her brothers raised their eyebrows in question as Crown Prince as about to ask her as an eunuch announced the arrival of King, Queen and two concubines. These concubines were of high backgrounds so King always invited them whenever he had family dinner.
The King Wang BikChang entered as all of them stood up, even though he was young brother of JiaLi's father JingJin, but he looked older one. he had wrinkles on his face which gave him a stern look. Maybe it was stress of being King but his forehead now head permanent frown, yet still his aura was powerful. His face were more like pale in colour as his black hair were tied in a cap worn by Kings.
He was followed by The Queen Wang CaoMeilin, she was the princess of the neighbouring country. She held much power in the harem,as she was also one of the adviser of King. Having a female adviser was exceptional and unusual but The Queen's contribution made every rebel shut up. She had flawless skin with brown eyes and wavy brown hair, she looked almost ten years younger then King, she still looked in her late forties. She wore Light green overcoat over her dress which made her even more beautiful, she was adorned by jewels from head to toe.
Two concubines followed the Queen, Pangfua was the concubine of highest ranking, she was the daughter of powerful clan of same country from which the Queen belong. She looked in mid forties, she had waist long black hair and slightly tanned complexion. She too was adorned by jewels but less then Queen. She was followed by King's favourite concubine DaXia, she was a princess of a weak kingdom but she the most beautiful of the three. She looked in her mid thirties and had glowing skin, she was adorned by jewels too but less then Queen, so that she won't get offended. But it was well known that King loved DaXia the most, he also appointed guards for her due to which Queen couldn't get rid of her. King's special attention on DiaXia made Queen and Pangfua jealous the only difference was Pangfua got over it easily while Queen can't seem to accept it till date. King spent most of the nights with DiaXia and all know what kind of activities they do behind the doors, DiaXia was given the courtyard near the King .
All of them sat down as King and Queen sat down. King looked at his only daughter, he saw her smiling continuously, he was happy that the castle environment have not destroyed the innocence of his only daughter. He picked up his dish which signalled everyone to eat. King spoke up as he saw Liling was not stopping smiling and flushing
"Did something good happened Linge'r?"
She looked at her father emperor as she nodded and spoke up .
" Today I met my cousin Father"
BikChang raised his eyebrows in question, she meet GangDa and HungJi every time there is a banquet.
" You have met them many times Linge'r, I have never seen you this excited"
Liling smiles as she shook her head and spoke up.
" I am not taking about Brother GangDa and HungJi-"
This caught everyone's attention as they looked at the princess as she continued.
" I met Fang JiaLi, my cousin sister"
This made not only princes' stop eating even BikChang stopped as he looked at her with wide eyes. He knows his elder brother is exceptionally protective about his only daughter. She never attended any banquet and she always wear a veil, nobody has seen how she looks.
" Let me tell you Father, she is really beautiful. Her beauty can rival a goddess and her green eyes, they are so mesmerising that you might get lost in them"
She spoke animatedly and not noticed how her father's eyes grew wide. Her brothers grew more interested in the girl who made their sister praise her so much that she even forgot her etiquette.
" Green Eyes!!!!!!!"
Liling stopped her rambling as she looked at her father and nodded with confusion. But her brothers understood as King emphasised on green eyes. Child with green eyes are said to be the ones who have pure royal blood, their destiny is to govern all even if they do not become King. Liling saw her father being interested as she smiled and spoke up.
"Father she will at Prime Minister's birthday, you can meet her there"
King was shocked and her brothers smiled, they really wanted to meet the girl whom their uncle is so protective about, they also want to know whether her aura is powerful or not. King nodded as he continued eating his lunch, Queen frowned, she never liked JingJin she always saw him as a threat to throne, but she knows King loves his elder brother. But now JingJin has a child with green eyes which make him even more threatening.

JiaLi sneezed as she sighed, she has a dreadful feeling that tomorrow banquet at Prime Minister's home will hold some troublesome things for sure. She looked at ceiling as she closed her eyes again thinking about her brothers.
She need to get out of her as soon as possible, cause anything and everything irritate her except her.......ermmm no JiaLi's family
