The man wore black Armani suite, his brown eyes were narrowed as he was looking at the people who were looking down in shame. His body would put bodybuilders in shame. Xavier looked at his younger brother who entered in without knocking, his frown deepened but soon his anger turned in worry as he saw his brother panting and was worried himself. Xavier dismissed the people he was scolding as he as he walked towards his brother, keeping his hand on his brother's shoulder as he asked.

" What is it Arthur?"

Arthur, controlled his breathing with much effort as he spoke up.

" Clayris-"

Xavier eyes widened as his worry increase and he again asked before Arthur could even complete his sentence.

" What happened? Did something happened to her?"

Xavier asked as he shook Arthur vigorously, Arthur sighed as he spoke up again with much more effort this time.

" She is missing"

" WHAT!!!!!??"

Arthur nodded at Xavier shock, he too is worried very much. Their sister is their life, if something happened to her it will kill them automatically. Arthur stopped Xavier from panicking by placing his hand on Xavier's shoulder firmly, only when Xavier stopped he continued.

" Head butler called, he told me that Eric and Clayris went to her lab after breakfast. But when they didn't come out even after five hours they entered, so they entered and they didn't find her, the machine she was working on too was broken. They searched every where but couldn't find Calyris and Eric."

Xavier eyes widened as he sat down holding his head between his hands, Arthur was too not in good condition. Xavier shook his head as he got up, he need to find a way to get his sister back no matter what.

" Arthur, mobilise our army also Inform Eric's parents of this disappearance . Assure them we will get them both back, they need not take any actions now that we Darwin's have mobilised our army"

Arthur nodded as he left for not only informing but also calling their pilot for getting their private plane ready. Xavier called his secretary, who was also his best friend.

" Ethan, me and Arthur will be going for sometime, handle the company for me will ya?"

Ethan looked at his best friend as he nodded, he knows what happened as he heard Arthur and Xavier talking. He can't see his friend in pain as he reassured him that he will find his company in the same condition as he left it when he comes back. Xavier nodded as he left his office, Arthur was to join him at the airport.

The head butler looked at the maid as he answered with a monotone.

Just as he said both Xavier and Arthur's arrival was announced. The Head butler bowed down as he welcomed his masters. Both of them just nodded as they walked down towards Clayris' lab . They stood stupefied as they saw their sister's lab that she loved very much, she requested them to make a lab with best equipment and her most absurd request was that the lab should not like a lab.

A smile adorned their face as they remembered her sweet smile that she gave them when she first saw the lab, but soon their smile left their faces as they registered how the lab looked now. They have already asked to search the whole country, both of them sat down on a couch as they looked around the lab . Xavier narrowed his eyes on the machine that was lying on the floor broken.

" What was she working on this time?"

Arthur looked at Xavier with raise eyebrows as head butler answered.

" Master, young miss was working on time machine"

Both of them looked shocked at him and then at the machine. Arthur got up as he went towards the broken machine as he bent down and picked a book.

Head butler looked at the book as he smiled and answered Arthur's unasked question.

" Reading Chinese light novel was young miss new hobby. She used to read them when she grew bored from all the working"

Xavier got up as he got up, he hit his head hard which not only startled Arthur but also head butler. But Xavier can't help it, he never thought he is this stupid.

" Give me the CCTV footage"

Head butler looked confused, there were no CCTV cameras inside young miss lab.

" I am talking about the cameras placed just outside the lab"

Head butler nodded as walked out, he too can't believe he didn't think of seeing them, but who can blame them they were so anxious and concerned that even simple thoughts like that slipped from their mind.

" What are you thinking Xavier?"

Xavier sighed as his sight again went on the broken machine, as he spoke up saying his concern out loud.

" I am thinking something went wrong with her experiment"

Arthur eyes widened in worry, cause if what he is saying is true then that means their sister is stuck in some other time with no help at all.

Both of them went to their room to freshen up as head butler brought them the CCTV footage. Xavier doubt was now confirmed as he saw Clayris hand coming out of the door holding the book but before she could get fully out a golden light covered the whole screen of laptop and now they could only see the book she was holding lying on the floor.

Arthur kept on looking at the book in his hand as a tear escaped through his eyes, Xavier too had a hard time controlling his tears. They both can't help but worry about their baby sister, even though they know she was fully capable of surviving, but who can blame them Clayris is their family.

JiaLi woke up as she frowned when Bai woke her up really early, seeing the sun position, it was only about 8 or 9 am.

" Why did you wake me up so early?"

The coldness in her voice startled not only Bai but also Deshi, but he smiled thinking that his young miss is not as morning person. He wanted to peek inside to see her irritated expression on her lovely face, he can't help but think that she still would look cute in that expression.

"Miss breakfast have already been served, you parents and brothers are waiting for you"

JiaLi sighed she forgot these ancient people wake up early, she got up as Bai helped her bath, blush was not leaving her face as she saw JiaLi's godly naked body. JiaLi arrived at breakfast table Bai and Deshi following her trail. She silently enjoyed her breakfast as her mother exclaimed that how happy she is that JiaLi is going to join the banquet. She talked about how she is going to brag about her beauty to the ladies who think their daughters are the best. JiaLi sighed as she looked at her father and brothers, they had a scowl on their face as they thought how many flies will be attracted to their little flower.

JiaLi couldn't help but think about the her brothers they always had the same reaction when they came to know that she is going to any kind of social event. Even though she never liked going but she had to as she was a public figure, they always used to make themselves sick so she won't leave them as they knew for her nothing is more important her brothers. Her chest ached as she thought about her brothers, they must be crying and beating themselves for her mistakes. She knows her brothers are really strong but when it comes to her they are weak, they can't control their emotions.

After breakfast, she went back to her courtyard as she sat in her garden as she thought how is she going to find a way back to her brothers. JiaLi took care of the make up herself, she applied a eye shadow kind of thing that made her eyes look big, she finely applied kohl as an eyeliner, she applied a little blush on her cheeks that did make her cheeks look beautifully pink but in a natural way. She applied natural red berry coloured juice on her lips as she let it dry, as Bai made her hair. she plated two small section of her hair as she made bun of those two plated hair behind and most of her hair was left down. She adorned JiaLi's hair with beautiful jade pin, while JiaLi wiped of the juice which left a natural reddish taint on her pink lips. She quickly applied a little oil of night blooming jasmine on her neck and wrist. She got up as Bai got mesmerised by her beauty, even though JiaLi didn't need any make up, but in this century, doing make up is considered as social status, so she needed to do so.

jiaLi walked out of her room as Bai was behind her, Deshi looked with wide eyes as if he has seen a goddess walking out of her chamber. JiaLi's makeup was equal to modern day make up, it was so natural that it made her features pop out but their was no heavy make up on her.

She joined her family as Deshi and Bai followed, her father didn't question her lack of veil as he warned Deshi to look after her all the time to which Deshi nodded. JiaLi couldn't help but smile at JingJin expression as she spoke up for the first time very lovingly.
