The days pass quickly. Jay and I have been strictly professional. Somehow I think we’re both struggling with it. Sometimes when I sneak a glance at him, I catch him staring at me. When I do, I can’t decide if I want to punch or kiss that look of longing off his stupid, handsome face. Even though I know that I need to formally end my marriage first, his logic about us still stinks like bullshit to me. Yesterday afternoon, we landed in Las Vegas. It had been a very long time since I’d flown economy. Luckily the seat between Jay and I was unoccupied. We had a little more space and skipped the awkward accidentally brushing against each other thing. It made me miss our two private jets, no! HIS private jets. Not enough to go back to that giant a$$hat though. I’d ride economy in the middle seat
