26. Shopping

The older Tye carries me and the younger one follows us into Dipak's office.
Thora stands up. "I don't know what the hell is happening. Let me get my glasses." She puts the glasses on. "OMAR. WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?"
Bud nods. "I was ok until there started being 2 of people."
Future me and Dipak are sitting at the ends of the table. In our normal spots. Future Tre and Marcus are in their normal spots.
Future Tye sits in his normal spot with me. My Tye sits between him and Tre.
Daddy stands up. "GET TYE THE f**k OUT OF HERE NOW."
Dipak stands up. "No. He stays. Everyone sit down."
"Bring cake."
"Alright, we are from the future. The kings and queen have their crowns now." He gives older me a dirty look. "The rings are still on the ship." She flips him off. "Now we are taking them to do a training mission. We will be gone a week with them. Hopefully, they will learn some about the ship and how things work. They are also going to be learning about landing on other planets."
"Shouldn't all of us go then?"
"No. We can not do that. We are showing the kings. They will pass the information on. If we try to teach to many people at once, it slows the process down. This way we can go 1 on 1 with them."
Thora stands up. "You're putting Nadine and Tye on the same ship in space... are you trying to die?"
Older me laughs. "They'll be fine. Tye will be busy the entire time. I don't know what I do. I probably roam around and push buttons. But everyone will be fine."
"You better keep him busy. We know what he does when he's bored."
Tye rubs his eyes.
Coral stands up. "WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE IF SHE DIDN'T WALK IN? YOU ASSHOLE. YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN BE HERE. GO BE WITH YOUR WHORE."
Coral, Thora, and Mary are all glaring at him. Daddy and Dracul have red eyes. Kane won't look at him. Omar is waiting for the place to explode, I think. Tye is about to start bawling.
Dipak rubs his eyes. "EVERYONE SIT DOWN."
Mary jumps up. She throws a sword right through Tye's shoulder. Then she plops down and crosses her arms.
Older Tye hands me some cake. He pulls the sword out and throws it towards the desk. "You'll be alright."
Dipak looks at me. "Do not push the flashing red button."
I start sobbing.
Tre stands up. "STOP BEING A f*****g DICK."
"Honestly Dipak."
"I'm sorry precious. Please don't push any flashing red buttons. Ok?"
I nod and wipe my eyes.
Future Tye feeds me more cake. I snuggle in. I like him.
My Dipak, Marcus, and Tre come in.
"GET THE f**k OUT OF MY SEAT."
"THIS IS MY SEAT."
"NO. THAT IS MY f*****g SEAT."
"IT WAS MY SEAT FOR LONGER."
"I DON'T GIVE A f**k. GET OUT OF MY SEAT."
Future me stands up. "DIPAK." They both turn towards her. "DO NOT CHALLENEGE HIM IN HIS OFFICE. I DON'T CARE WHO HAD IT LONGER. YOU CAN COME DOWN HERE AND SIT. ACTUALLY, NO, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CHALLENEGE EACH OTHER AT ALL. OVER ANYTHING. THE ENTIRE WEEK. SIT THERE." She points at my seat.
Long hair Dipak sits at it. Then she sits by Mary.
My Dipak takes his spot at the head of the table. "The 4 of us and Nadine are going away for a week."
"Can I stay here?" He puts his eyebrows up. "I'll have Kane and Mary to watch me. Thora and Coral are here. I'll be in the way up there."
My Tre shakes his head. "No. You'll run."
The tears come back up. "I won't run."
"You will run, my princess. You need to go with them."
"I don't want to daddy."
"I know, but it's 1 week. Everyone will be busy. And you've always loved the stars. Watch out the windows, my princess. When you need a break from that, watch the 2 Dipak's argue about everything."
Future Tye hugs me and whispers, "I'll make sure he stays away and doesn't talk to you. I know you need space from him right now. You'll get it."
I snuggle him and eat another piece of cake. "My tummy hurts."
Tye puts me on future Dipak's lap. "She's snuggly."
"What's wrong babygirl?"
"My tummy hurts."
"What do I do about that?" He says it quite loudly and everyone looks.
"Rub my belly." I put his hand on it.
"I'm only rubbing her belly. It hurts."
My boys chuckle.
Future me jumps up. "IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WON'T DO FOR HER? SERIOUSLY RUBBING HER BELLY NOW?"
Future Tre sits back. "Someone's getting jealous."
"Well, rub her damn belly too."
Older me jumps up and down. "NO NO NO."
Older Dipak stands me up and stands up beside me. "WOMAN RELAX."
I throw up down the front of him.
"THAT'S WHAT YOU GET."
"NO MORE CANDY."
I start sobbing.
My Tre jumps up. "ENOUGH." He scoops me up. I snuggle into him. "Anyone at this table can replace me. Pick someone. I'm staying here with Nadine."
Older Dipak crosses his arms. "NO. YOU HAVE TO GO."
"I don't give a f**k what you say. I'm going to stay and take care of my mate. This is to much for her. Pick someone else." He carries me out.
He carries me into the sitting room and sits us on the couch.
"I'm sorry Tre."
"Don't be sorry. None of this is your fault. I know you're trying baby. But me and you, we can travel for a week. We'll go see something new. Maybe we can go see somewhere cold. We can snuggle by fires. I can give you lots of cuddles. I'll make you feel better. This is to much to take. First Tye, and then learning about Marcus. Then we show up from the future. I love you baby. I know it's to much."
I hold him and cry. "I love you."
"I love you baby."
The door flies open, and I hear a bunch of people screaming and yelling. I hear my mom over everyone. Thora slams the door quickly. "I'm really glad I'm not going on that ship either. Sorry to interrupt, but you can't make me go back out there."
Tre rubs his eyes. "What is going on?"
"The moms found out what Tye did. They are pissed. He's sitting in the middle of the floor bawling."
"How did they find out?"
"His mom showed up and told them."
"How did she find out?"
"Well...."
"Did you tell her?"
"We were going shopping."
"Yea."
"We went shopping in the Yanin village."
"And then?"
"We happened to run into the whore."
"And then..."
"Guards were called. But they couldn't do anything because we were in our queen colors."
"Uh huh. Keep going."
"The king was summoned. He asked what we were doing?"
Tre nods. "Yea..."
"I told him what a w***e she is, and she goes after people's mates. The queen and whole village may have overheard."
"Is she alive?"
"I don't know, but if she is, she probably wishes she wasn't."
My Dipak comes in and shuts the door behind him. "You cut her hair off?"
"No, Mary did that. Then she shoved the blade right in her ear. I made her deep throat my sword though." She shrugs her shoulders. "If she wanted something to suck on, I'll give her something."
Coral comes in next. "Dracul said we're not supposed to dress in black and red, then go rip people apart in other villages. I told him to suck my ass."
Thora nods. "That w***e shouldn't have messed with our little sister."
"Oh and Miculai threw both Tye's out the window and the moms went after them. It's safe in the office again."
Dipak looks at Tre. "Are you staying?"
"Yea, we're going to go see some place new for a week."
"Should I take your dad?"
"I would take Frode if I was you."
"Then who the hell would I leave in command? I don't want to put Miculai in command that long."
"Put Tre in command."
"Tre will be with you sweetheart."
"If anything happens, we can be back quickly."
"How would you know?"
Thora looks at Tre. "Give me your feather. I'll tell you if anything goes wrong."
"I'll be the only mate she has on the planet. I'm not taking it out of her arm."
"Fine. I'll get Tye's feather. If anything happens. I'll tell him. He can tell you. You can contact Nadine and tell her. She can tell Tre, and he can come back."
All of us laugh.
Then Dipak smiles. "Get Marcus's feather. Tye is a mess right now, and you'll be yelling at him constantly. Marcus will be fine. He'll let me know right away."
She runs out the door with Coral.
"You'll be in command, but I'll have Miculai acting king. You 2 can sort that out. And your dad will be here too. And Kane. It'll be fine."
"I doubt if anything will happen. I'll just snuggle this one for a week."
"Do you want to go, Tre?"
He smiles. "I have my whole life to be on that ship and explore different worlds. I can wait a few years. They'll tell me what they learned."
I snuggle him. "I'll go if you want to."
He gives me the biggest hug. "I'll take you and bear. We are going to go hide somewhere and cuddle. You can make us a fire. I'll get some fish. It'll be like it use to be." He kisses my head.
Thora drags Marcus in. "TELL HIM."
"Give her the feather. Tre will be in command here. He's taking Nadine out for a week. If anything happens. Thora will tell you, you tell me, and I'll get Tre back here."
"Are you sure?"
"GIVE ME THE FEATHER MARCUS."
He turns to a dragon and then puts the feather in her arm. I hate it. I hate everything about that. It's mine. I snuggle Tre.
"It's alright baby. Just go. She's done."
Dipak kisses my head. "I love you sweetheart. We'll be back soon. You take care of Tre. I know he says it's the other way around, but we know the truth."
I start laughing.
"That's better. I love you sweetheart."
"I love you too."
Marcus wraps me in his arms. "I'm sorry I did that in front of you baby. It shocked me. The next arm it goes in is yours. And only yours forever." He gives me a little kiss.
"I love you."
"I love you angel. You have fun and relax a bunch this week."
"You have fun too. You'll be able to see the stars from the stars."
"I'll tell you all about it when I get back. I love you so much."
"I love you too."
Dipak grabs him and pulls him out.
I stare at the door and cry.
Tre lays down on the couch. "Come here, baby."
