32. We Match

Marcus washes me. "That spray healed you fast."

"It hurt though."

"I bet. Why were you playing on it?"

"Dipak was chasing me."

"Why?"

"I ran from him."

"Why would you do that?"

"He's mean and I don't like him. He was trying to talk to me. I wanted to eat my fries with bear. I like watching out the window."

"Can you start at the beginning, baby?"

"I was lying on the people mover. Older Tye picked me up and told me not to do that. He said I could get hurt. Then old Dipak told us to keep moving. Tye called him a dickhead and said he wasn't going to let me get hurt. Then Dipak rolled his eyes. So I kicked him and told him he is a dickhead. Then I ran up to the window place and got some lunch. I tried to eat, but he came and tried talking to me."

"He probably shouldn't try to talk to you. But everyone is trying to keep you and Tye apart. That's probably why he stepped in to begin with."

"Why keep me and older Tye apart?"

"Because of everything going on with the young one. It's confusing Angel. No one wants you falling for the older one. Including the older Tye. It would be bad."

"It hurts my head to try and sort it out."

"Mine too. It's that you're not bonded yet. They are still your mates. Even though they are already bonded, they are still feeling pulled towards you. And believe me, none of us want you to get hurt. That's what really matters."

He dries me off.

"Do you feel pulled to me?" I step close to him and kiss his marking spot.

"Think you could make me forget your name again?"

I smile and they knock again. Future Marcus yells. "I WILL COME IN THERE AND DRAG YOU OUT." I crack up laughing.

I give him a kiss. "Go kick your own ass sir."

He throws some pants on. Then he walks out of the bedroom and shuts the door.

Then he sits down on the side of the bed. "I need to go back baby." He rubs my back and kisses the back of my shoulder.

"I wish you could stay."

"Me too." He puts the rest of his clothes on. "I love you."

"I love you too. But you might want to try to do something with your hair."

He walks over to the mirror and chuckles at himself. "I guess I'll pull it up."

I sit up and hold the sheet over my boobs. "That's probably for the best. I don't know how much oil it would take to fix that."

I drop the sheet. His eyes darken and he comes for me. He gives me a deep kiss and I wrap my arms around him. I pull on his shoulders, and he climbs over me.

Then someone knocks on the damn door.

Then they knock on the door. "I'M ON MY WAY." He gets up. "I am so f*****g annoying in the future."

I laugh and lay back on the bed. "I'll see you soon."

He gives me one more kiss then runs out.

"Brain, can you bring me that sexy black outfit? With thigh high boots and short skirt."

"Of course."

My hair dried weirdly like Marcus's. I play with the hair orb and make it straight black and red. Then a brain brings me my clothes. I put on the sexy outfit.

I go into the command area. "Damn, I was sexy even then." Future me grabs my arm and drags me out. She drags me down to her and Tye's room. "GIVE ME 2 SECONDS." She pulls me in and leaves me standing in the sitting room.

Future Tye glances up from the desk and raises his eyebrows.

"Brain brought me some clothes."

"Brain has good taste in clothes... No. No it doesn't." He goes back to his paper.

"I'm leaving. I don't know where she went."

"TYE DON'T YOU LET HER LEAVE."

"WOMAN, I'M NOT TAKING HER HOSTAGE."

She comes out of the bedroom with 1 boot on and 1 unzipped, trying to zip it. "2 seconds. We can both dress like that."

Tye sits up. "Well, this I will have to see. I may get killed by all of them. But it'll be worth it."

She picks up something and throws it at him. "Don't even think about it Tye."

"I'm trying not to, but you are making it very difficult."

She stands beside me. He's got dark eyes. "Do we look good?"

He nods and then rubs his eyes. I must stare at him to long. He smirks. Then future me shoves me out the door. "This double mate thing is annoying Tye."

He follows us out. "It's only a week. We can get through it."

"So you 2 live together still?"

Future me smiles. "In my story, yes. You don't have to do everything exactly. You'll figure it out as you go. I know right now, it seems scary. You don't even know if you want to keep him. Take your time. Eventually, you'll get to know each other again. Then some of the fear goes away. Slowly, you'll fall in love again."

I shake my head.

"Once everything slows down, and we start talking again, feelings come back up." She looks at Tye. "Was that the way it was for you?"

He shakes his head. "I never lost them. I loved you to death. It was a stupid 2 seconds that I couldn't get back. I still don't know what the f**k I was thinking. Allowing a girl like that around me alone. I should have thrown her straight out the door. I knew what she wanted. Then you were gone. It was devastating. Everyone hated me. I hated me. I was so happy when you decided to talk to me again. You were always the only thing that mattered to me."

"Did you ever see her again?"

"Shortly after we get back from this trip. Her hair was choppy, and she wouldn't look up from the ground. I was happy about it then. I tried to blame her for kissing me. But I knew it was my fault. A w***e will be a w***e. It's up to me to control what I do. I did learn that."

We turn around and hug him. She smiles. "You were still young and learning too."

"No more crying." He wipes the tears off my face. Then he walks us back into the command area.

Future me jumps up and down. "WE MATCH. LOOK AT US."

My Dipak nods. "Yea, this isn't good. You know we're stupid. We're going to mess this up." He winks at me.

Future Dipak takes a step towards me.

Everyone cracks up laughing.

Dipak sits down and wipes his eyes. "I think someone is afraid to take me on."

"Some days I'm afraid to take you on. Leave the poor and innocent child alone. She will be traumatized."

Tre holds bear up. I run to him and jump on his lap. I snuggle him and bear at the same time.

He kisses my head. "Few differences still."

"Fewer than you think." He throws something white at future me. She catches it and hugs it. "Sometimes she likes to be little. Sometimes s**t happens and forces it. But it doesn't go away."

"This is bear now."

I look at my bear and her bear. "Bear survives for 10,000 years?"

"No, someone always gets me a new white bear. I have had a lot."

It makes me sad. Tye's the one who got it for me. I throw my head down on Tre's shoulder. I snuggle the 2 of them again.

Future Dipak stands up. "Let's go to dinner. We have an hour before we drop out of hyperspace."

Tre stands me up. "We'll be there in a second. I'm going to put her in something else."

"BUT WE MATCH."

"No one needs to see your underwear at dinner baby. You can't sit still, and you jump on people."

"Nu uh."

"I bet you will be on one of us before you're even done eating."

I shake my head.

"We'll see."
