Third person's pov

It had been three days since the night that Dillon met Blaire again and now they were both driving to Stefan's pack with El and Ann. 

They had landed to Canada some time ago and the pack's territory was not too far away from the airport. Dillon had called everyone and asked to gather to Stefan's as he had an important announcement to make and they were all unaware of the true reason.

He had Blaire and El with him and he was very excited and impatient to see everyone's reactions. Blaire seemed to be happy but a bit nervous and El was enthusiastic from the moment they had announced her that they were going back. Ann from the first day she had met Blaire had stated that she would follow her and she meant it, she was with them.

They were some minutes away from the pack house when Dillon turned and looked at Blaire one more time worried. She was pale shaking in her sit nervously. She was staring outside the window like lost and her hands were sweating.

"Blaire? Calm down, they won't kill you... At least with the way you think... They will kill you with hugs and kisses." Dillon whispered and tapped her knee softly.

"I am just sorry because I have hurt them... Two whole years..." She murmured and sighed.

She turned her head and looked at El at the back sit with Ann through the mirror. Her face was shining from excitement and she was moving her legs impatiently with her big eyes locked outside. Ann was smiling in sympathy while caressing El's long hair softly next to her.

"Blaire..." Beth whispered in a weird tone.

"Yes? Are you nervous too?" Blaire asked worried.

Beth was always the calmer one and now she seemed to be less strong than her. In fact, the last three days she was too silent most of the times and she was rarely murmuring without explaining anything to Blaire and this was way too weird and rare for Beth's altitude.

"Um... Yeah..." She replied murmuring and sighed.

"Beth, is anything wrong?"

"Blaire, I love you very much!" she replied with a low howl in the end.

"I love you too girl but why are you acting like this?" Blaire asked confused.

"Nothing, just got emotional. I want you always to remember that I will never leave you alone, okay?"

"Beth..." Blaire began but Dillon cleared his throat and interrupted her.

"We are here! They are all here except from your uncles and Cai that stayed back to take care of the pack. You will meet them later." He explained and Blaire nodded nervously.

Dillon parked the car at the parking lot and Elona was there to greet him. 

Once she saw Blaire at the passenger's sit she opened her eyes and mouth speechless and run to her door like a flash. Blaire opened the door and before she manage to get out Elona was already on her crying and laughing.

"Oh, I missed you too my friend. Elona, calm down, I don't want you to pass out now!" Blaire murmured breathless and tapped her back giggling.

"I can't believe it! You are finally here!" Elona cried and pulled Blaire out of the car where Dillon were already standing with Ann and El between them.

"Aunt!" El yelled and bitted her finger shyly.

Elona turned and looked at the little girl that was standing some steps in front of her. She was taller and even more beautiful, she was a young, sweet and cute young lady like her mother. Her eyes were magical, breathtaking and so expressive.

"El! My baby!" Elona screamed and rushed to her.

She pulled her in her arms and stood up kissing her everywhere like crazy making El giggle loudly.

"You have grown up so much! Look at you! You were a baby and now a big girl!" Elona was murmuring crying while she was admiring El in her arms.

"Is it a good surprise?" Dillon asked smirking.

"Are you kidding me? The best ever! Let's go, the others will get crazy. They are all waiting!" Elona said and turned and smiled at Ann kindly.

"This is Ann! Max's mother. I was living with her." Blaire explained and came between them smiling.

"Nice to meet you Ann. Thank you for everything." Elona said and raised her hand for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you too. Blaire have told me a lot about you." Ann replied taking Elona's hand in hers.

"So, let's go my girls. I am feeling like a knight here..." Dillon announced and fixed his shirt with a proud expression.

Blaire rolled her eyes and punched him on his shoulder playfully before taking El in her arms. She wanted to enter the house and face everyone with her baby in her arms and also El was calming her a lot.

They began walking to the pack house's door with Elona in front and behind her Dillon and Ann with Blaire and El in the middle. The moment Elona reached the door Blaire's heart began beating faster and Beth howled impatiently. Ann and Dillon tapped her back encouragingly at the same time and El stiffened in her arms excited.

Elona opened the door and got in with Dillon after her and next Blaire with El and in the end Ann. The scents hit Blaire's nose and her legs began shaking from anxiousness. Dillon placed one hand behind her back as they were reaching the living room where they were all gathered. Elona got in the room and stood in the door silently.

"Elona... Something..." Stefan's voice sounded.

"Well... I have a surprise for you..." Elona spoke up and took some steps inside the room and next the door smiling.

They all got up! 

They took the two well-known scents but they couldn't believe it. 

Fern was already crying and George was standing on his feet with difficulty as they were shaking. Stefan and Kyle were standing next to each other with her eyes widely open and their wolves howling like crazy. Dean, Henna, Alex, Kara and Isaak were looking at the door breathless yet ecstatic and Albert was taking deep breaths with Tia confused next to him.

Dillon signed to Blaire from behind the door and she nodded trembling. Ann caressed her back one last time and after taking one last breath Blaire walked with slow, steady, timidly steps to the door with Dillon next to her. 

She stopped and stood at the room's entrance with tears building up looking around the room at her favorite family. 

They were all frozen in their places with their eyes locked on her and El that began giggling and opened her hands enthusiastic.

"Daddy!" She yelled and laughed in joy.

"Blaire!" They all exclaimed together.

Blaire began sobbing and left El down as she was moving trying to get free from her hold. She put her hands on her mouth and cried trembling.

"Daddy, we are back!" El shouted and run to Stefan.

"Blaire!" George screamed and rushed to her with Fern behind him.

He pulled her in his arms the moment El jumped in Stefan's embrace. They all began crying, shouting, walking to El and Blaire like crazy. Henna was screaming hysterically, Alex was amused staring at Blaire. Albert was shaking speechless alone as Tia was hugging Blaire with George and Fern and Dean with Kyle was around Stefan with El while Kara was ready to pass out and Isaak was holding her with difficulty with tears on his eyes.

"My baby! She is back! My Blaire is back!" George screamed through his sobs and tightened his hold around Blaire that was crying without taking breath.

"Thanks Goddess! You are here!" Stefan finally spoken up and kissed El on her forehead for some seconds and began crying as well.

"I am sorry..." Blaire began murmuring and tried to breathe.

Fern was hugging her daughters and mate with Henna and Alex joining them crying. Kyle was hugging Stefan and El with Dean and Albert walked to them with shaking legs. He couldn't believe it, it was like a dream, they were back.

"Daddy, I missed you!" El murmured as she was kissing Stefan with her little hands around his neck.

"Blaire, sit!" Alex said worried and tried to pull George a bit backwards because he was holding Blaire too tightly.

Blaire had fainted and she was fighting to catch up her breath. She was still shaking, she had tears on her eyes and cheeks and her expression was full of pain.

"Let her sit!" Henna almost shouted panicked and Dillon got in the middle and helped her sit with Alex's help.

Stefan seemed to realize what was happening as he was lost all that time and he rushed to Blaire with El in his arms. He sat beside her on the couch and pulled her in his arms not that tightly like George and broke into sobbing while they all stood frozen staring at them crying silently.

Stefan, Eleanor and Blaire... 

The three of them together again after two whole years.

Blaire wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his neck taking his scent trying to calm down. El was hugging them both but she was kissing Stefan still excited.

"I am sorry... So sorry..." Blaire cried and pulled her head back to look at Stefan that smiled and kissed her on the lips hungrily.

"Goddess, I can't believe it!" Kara murmured and took some steps to them with Isaak on her side.

"They are back!" Fern whispered and began crying in George's arms.

"Sister?" Kyle said almost from inside him staring at Blaire lost.

Blaire turned and looked at him breathless. His expression was broken, he was crying, his hair was a mess and his eyes were shining. Blaire's heart skipped a beat, her brother, her more trusted, her favorite. She stood up and rushed to him like a flash. Kyle pulled her in his arms and they both breathed relieved taking each other's scent.

"I missed you so much! I want to tell you so many things! Don't leave me again." Kyle whispered and kissed her hair.

"I am proud of you brother. I know everything, I am never going to leave you again, promise." She replied and pulled back to kiss his forehead.

Tia walked to them and wrapped her arms around them like asking from them to show her some interest. Blaire moved her hand immediately and pulled her in their embrace kissing the top of Tia's head and crying. Her brother and sister, her own blood, her strength... She had raised them for more than a year like they were her kids and her love for them was above every limit, she was proud of them.

"Are you okay baby?" Blaire asked Tia and she shook her head quickly in agreement.

"Blaire?" Albert said trembling.

Kyle and Tia pulled a bit back giving Blaire space to turn and look at Albert. Blaire smiled at him and wiped some tears staring at his broken expression and wet eyes from crying.

"My Albert!" she exclaimed with a broken voice and walked to him quickly.

He took some steps to her and opened his arms for her to hug him. Once she buried herself in his embrace they both began sobbing.

"I knew you would come back, I knew it!" Albert murmured kissing her forehead.

George couldn't stand anymore from the shock and sat on the couch next to Stefan with Fern on his side. El moved on their lap quickly and hugged them both making George cry even louder. Kyle and Tia were hugged next to Blaire and Albert and Henna with Alex was next to Stefan staring at El with adoration.

"She grew up so much!" Henna whispered and Alex nodded and kneeled down next to Stefan.

"El, look..." Fern said pointing Alex.

She turned her head and looked at Alex smiling and moved out from her grandparents' hug. She opened her arms and wrapped them around Alex giggling.

"Are you alright my little Alpha?" Alex asked her teasinglh and she chuckled and nodded. 

Henna kneeled down next to them and kissed her cheeks lots of times making El giggle and laugh loudly.

"I want to see my cousin." El stated shyly staring at both of them.

"Of course baby! He wants very much to see you!" Henna replied ready to cry.

Blaire was now hugging Kara and Isaak who were both smiling and Dillon with Anna and Elona were standing next to them relieved.

Dean was lost, he was staring at everyone with a blank expression like he was dreaming. His eyes were mostly travelling from El to Blaire and again from the beginning. They had been all crying and now most of them were smiling from happiness and relief. Blaire after some time turned and look at Dean worried. 

He was frozen, he wasn't moving or talking.

"Dean?" she whispered and took some steps to him examinating his expression.

"You are back!" he murmured and began crying suddenly realizing that it was true.

"I am baby! I am here." She replied and pulled him in her arms gently.

Alex got up and walked to them with Henna following him. They hugged them both and Blaire turned her head and kissed Henna and then Alex emotional.

"I think that I have to see Nick too. El is right!" she murmured and Henna nodded.

"You will sis, you will!" Alex assured her smiling.

"Baby sit!" Dean said and pointed the sit between George and Stefan.

She moved and sat between them as El sat again on Stefan's lap and they all gathered around her with emotional expressions. George kissed the top of her head one more time and Stefan wrapped one arm around her and kissed El. Blaire sighed relieved and wiped her tears smiling.

"Um... This is Ann Wilson... Max's mother. I was living with her." She stated smiling and signed for Ann and Dillon to come closer.

They all turned and looked at Ann smiling when Albert's eyes opened widely and Ann froze the moment her eyes met his.

"Mate..." Albert murmured and they all gasped shocked.

"Ann! You are mates!" Dillon shouted excited.

"Yes!" Blaire yelled and clapped her hands.

"Albert... Move your feet... You have a woman now..." Dean teased him immediately.

Albert was staring at Ann lost, he had never a mate... 

Until now... 

And Ann had already one butshe  had lost it years ago. They were both speechless, Albert had no idea what to do and his wolf had gotten crazy.

"Move Al..." Kyle whispered and tapped his back making him jump up surprised.

"Um..." Albert trembled and paused.

"Move! Both of you." Blaire said impatient and stood up.

Albert took some timidly steps to Ann and she smiled warmly to him. She had lost her wolf but she knew the feeling, she was sure, Albert was her second mate and she was happy. He was like a father for Max and Blaire, she knew a lot about him.

"Hi, Albert..." she murmured when he reached some inches away from her and blushed.

"Um, hi!" Albert replied trembling.

"Oh man! Look at him..." Dean yelled frustrated from Albert's shy behavior.

"Just hug her Albert, the rest will come naturally." Alex teased him and Albert growled at him annoyed.

Ann blushed even more and Blaire knowing both of them well enough decided to help them. She walked to them and pushed Albert gently to Ann.

"Do it!" she whispered softly.

Ann moved a bit to Albert and placed her hands on his shoulders smiling and Blaire sighed relieved. Albert smiled for the first time to Ann and wrapped his shaking around Ann's waist.

"Yeah!" Dillon shouted and El began jumping up and down enthusiastic.

"Grandma Ann and grandpa Albert are mates!" she was yelling and they all started laughing.

They all observed Ann and Albert for some seconds when George cleared his throat discreetly and tapped the couch. Blaire nodded and sat again next to him and Stefan who took her hands in his gently. They all sat slowly around them with El being in Alex's lap and waited patiently for Blaire to speak. She took a deep breath and Beth howled encouraging her to speak and explain everything.

"I am sorry I left like that but I knew that you would try to stop me and I didn't want to... I needed it and well... I was determinate. We were all in need of time and space and I more than any other time." She said and paused trembling nervously.

"Where have you been all these years?" Kyle asked curious.

"In Switzerland with Ann. I knew about her, I was the only one. It was Max's secret. He had asked me to take care of her and I was calling her often without telling you. Um... She was my best choice, I needed someone so close to Max who was always like an older brother for me. She accepted me immediately." She explained and smiled grateful to Ann.

"Thank you Ann! I will never be able to make it up to you." Fern said emotional and wiped some tears from her eyes.

"It's okay. I am glad I could help them. They are family for me." Ann replied smiling warmly.

"Ann will stay with us now. She decided to stay with me." Blaire added and Albert shined from happiness tightening his hold around Ann instinctually.

"What about your life there baby?" Stefan asked worried.

"Uh, it was fine. I was working like a secretary to a doctor's office. He and his wife were good friends of mine and their kids were playing with El a lot. Ann was taking care of her when I was working, it was peaceful, exactly what I needed."

"Mom! Tell about uncle Derek and the guys!" El said impatient.

"Yes baby, now. Well, there was a small pack there, near Ann's house. They were only seven members and they were all young and great kids. Their Alpha is Derek and he was a good friend of Max. Ann met me to them and we became friends. I had company and we were helping each other, I was training them and we were spending most of our weekends together. They are fantastic guys."

"At least you had company and people that loved you baby!" Kyle said relieved.

"Yes, we were missing you! All of you!" Blaire whispered and Stefan pulled her in his arms kissing the top of her head.

"Now you are here. We are together again." George murmured and sighed heavily.

"Don't do it to me again princess." He warned her with a hurt expression and she nodded smiling.

"I know everything about everyone and I am very proud of you. All... But dad... We have to talk because I know that you were complaining all the time like a baby..." she added meaningfully and he stiffened awkward.

"Yes! I knew it! Finally!" Kyle yelled excited and bursted into laughter.

"Kyle!" George yelled annoyed.

"What? I told you to stop it but you didn't listened... You knew that this was going to happen..." he replied smirking.

"He..." Kyle continued pointing George to Blaire.

"He was a mess and only mom could deal with him. He was a moving headache and he was listening to no one."

"I know but don't worry brother, I will scold him enough for the next ten years." Blaire replied smirking devilishly and they all laughed.

Stefan kissed Blaire again on the cheeks and she giggled shyly.

"Do you need some rest?" he whispered softly.

"In a bit..." she replied and looked at all the people around her smiling.

"We are finally home." Beth said with joy.

"We will be... We have something more to do and maybe... Well, we have to go to our pack first. They need us and we have to speak with Ian." Blaire said nervously.

"Everything is going to be fine, I assure you, just be... strong!"

~next day~

Blaire's pov

"Can we go for a run mum? With Beth and dad, please!" El shouts and runs to me excited.

"El, you are going to wake up Nick. Talk in a lower tone." I whisper and she nods.

She stops running and comes to me and Henna on the couch silently. Nick is sleeping in my arms and he is very sweet. He looks like Alex but has the smile with Henna.

"Go baby. I will put him to bed anyway. El and Stefan want it very much." Henna whispers smiling.

I nod and give Nick to her gently and carefully. She takes him in her arms and he smiles in his sleep. Henna smiles and kisses his forehead standing up.

"Come El, where is your dad?" I ask her in a low tone as we are walking out of the room.

"Outside, he is waiting for us." She says impatiently.

The others are still sleeping as last night we went to bed too late and moreover El got them all tired and they haven't woken up yet even if it is ten in the morning. We decided not to wake them up and let them all rest because the last day was tiring especially emotionally for all of us. Only Albert with Ann woke up some time ago and they went for a walk alone to get to know each other better and Henna woke up to feed Nick. Stefan and I got up too early because of El who came on our bed to wake us up and stayed in Stefan's arms for a while as she had always been doing.

"Come!" she says almost dragging me out of the house where Stefan is waiting for us patiently.

"There you are!" he exclaims and kisses my check smiling.

"Nick is so sweet!" I say sighing excited.

"Yes baby, I know."

"Let's go! I want a big run!" El shouts again.

"Okay, okay!" I reply.

We start walking to the forest greeting some members that learnt that I and El are back and wanted to see and welcome us. After some minutes we reach at the beginning of the woods and Stefan goes behind a tree to take of his clothes, hide them and shift. He comes out of the tree about two minutes later in his big, grey wolf form. El goes to him and I do the same behind a big tree. I take off my clothes and put them inside a small cave at the tree roots and shift giving Beth full control.

"Blaire..." she murmurs once we shift.

"Yes?" I ask with curiosity.

"I love you!"

"Beth! I love you too! Don't be melancholic girl. We will see Ian and Terror soon!" I reply confused.

"We are strong Blaire, I am, you are, be strong!" she whispers and lets out a low howl.

"Sure girl, always."

We get out of the tree and El is already on Boman's back with her hands buried in his thick fur.

"Ready?" Boman asks through the link.

"Of course." Beth replies and shakes her tail impatiently.

We start running but not too fast because of El and we get deeper in the forest gradually. 

The sun is not very warm and it is quite cloudy but I love this weather, it is refreshing. Boman seems very happy, Beth is too calm and I can feel how peaceful we all feel. There is a quite big waterfall near here and we used to come with Stefan the days I was not very good. I want to go again and Beth informs Boman who agrees immediately. El is laughing and looking around her excited and most of the time she caresses Boman's fur making him purr.

"Beth!" Boman suddenly shouts when we are almost at the waterfall and stops quickly taking deep breaths.

Beth stops and smells quickly the air and we both open our eyes widely.

"Rogues!" I scream and she nods calmly confusing me.

"Vampires!" Stefan tells me through the link angry.

"Give me El! Call for help! They must be a lot!" I say shortly and look around me worried.

"Blaire, they are two!" He says confused.

"Stefan, they are more!" I reply annoyed.

He lowers and El jumps from his back and comes to me quickly like she has felt the tension. I lay down, she jumps on my back and I stand up after I get sure that she is holding me tightly. The scent becomes stronger and Boman opens his eyes widely and turns his head to another direction.

"Stay here! I informed everyone. I will chase them." He says in hurry through the link and runs away ignoring my calls to stop.

What is he doing? The scent is coming from another direction.

"s**t! What is wrong with him?!" I scream annoyed and Beth howls as the scent becomes stronger.

We turn around when we hear growls and noises.

 Vampires, above five!

"Mom!" El yells shaking on my back and tightens her hold around me.

"We can't run too fast Blaire and we can't fight properly with El!" Beth shouts desperate.

I turn around again and start running to the waterfall's direction. Maybe they can lose us there as the trees are too many, the ground not stable and I know every turn and corner very good. The others may reach us in time like this and the vampires will find it difficult to follow us.

"Henna! Vampires! I am alone with El! Stefan left and I don't know where he is! He is blocking me." I say through the link panicked as I continue running like crazy.

"Blaire! We are coming!" she replies shortly.

I run and run, their footsteps are louder now. s**t!

"Mom, hurry!" El screams and starts crying.

"Concentrate Blaire, you can do it!" Beth howls.

I manage to run faster and El stays stable on my back and after some seconds me reach the waterfall through the thick forest but some vampires are still quite close. They are not five anymore, they must be two or three but still. I turn and look around me trying to find a way to keep El safe and fight them on my own but there is nothing that can hide her.

"Blaire Gordon!" I strong male's voice say and I turn around gasping from shock.

The next moment I growl loudly outraged ready to attack him but I think of El and stop. 

I know him, I have seen photos of him...

He is my enemy, MY ONE and ONLY ENEMY!

Zachary...

He is standing opposite of me in his human form with two vampires beside him and his eyes black from anger and hatred.

I am trapped between him and the waterfall.

Shit!

"Thanks Goddess... I thought that you would never come back. I have a job that has been left in the middle and I need to finish it finally." He whispers like a snake and takes one step to me smirking.

I growl loudly and show him my teeth shaking from anger and Beth howls warningly.

"You were always ruining my plans but now... Let's see your family now that you and your daughter will be dead and... Ian... I am sure that he will kill himself or I will kill him easily now, he will be quite devastated you know... That bastard always loved you, he was never good enough to do what I wanted and if he learns that you have a daughter together... Well... Better for me!" he says and raises his hand laughing.

"Kille her!" he roars and the next thing I know is Beth taking full control and jumping down the waterfall!

"Remember Blaire, stay strong!" Beth howls in agony and pain.

"Eleanor!"

Alex's pov

"Run! All of you!" I scream through the link and run faster towards Blaire's scent.

"s**t! Where is Stefan?" George roars and runs faster passing me in his black wolf form.

"Blood! I smell blood! Hurry!" Henna shouts out of control and we speed up even more.

I don't know how we are all running, I don't feel my paws and my heart is ready to stop beating from fear. El and Blaire are alone with vampires and Stefan is nowhere to be found.

I run with George and Kyle with Fern in the front of everyone else and the others follow us as fast as they can with some of Stefan's best fighters and trackers.

"Alex! I and Ann found Blaire and El. At the waterfall, now!" Albert screams through the link panicked.

"At the waterfall!" I scream.

"Alex, call medical help. Now!" Albert tells me again and closes the link.

One of Stefan's pack members goes back quickly to inform pack doctors and the other continue running to the waterfall. We are almost there when blood's scent hits our noses and we all howl panicked.

No! 

Not again! 

We lived through this one time and we won't bear it again! 

No with Blaire and Eleanor, we will die from the pain of their loss!

We reach the top of the waterfall and Fern stops violently causing all of us stop behind her. We look down and gasp...

Blaire is lying down on a rock in her human form with big, deep wounds and cuts everywhere on her body. She is bleeding and she is extremely pale. El is on top of her not so badly as Blaire but she is bleeding too.

"Blaire!" We all scream and try to find a quick path to get down the waterfall.

Henna finds one short and unstable path but we all rush down ignoring the danger and reach Albert and Ann who are trying to find Blaire and Eleanor's pulse with shaking hands.

"Blaire! Don't leave us!" Albert screams and lifts his head up and looks at us panicked.

"There is no pulse..."

This is the 17th chapter and I am in 'good' mood so why don't we continue to the 18th chapter?
