Artemisia

   I  coughed multiple times water came out of my mouth I opened my eyes  , I was on the floor beside the pool  . Someone pulled me out of  the pool , my whole body was wet .  My fever had gone down a little , I struggled to get up my boss will be angry if he finds me basking  by the pool instead of working .

I headed inside the house  holding on to anything for support  I looked like a zombie  that survived a terrible tornado . I accidentally pushed a vase it fell smashing into pieces making this anoying noise geez couldn't  it be a little quiet , my boss will surely deduct that from my salary. I had to hide it .I quickly picked it and placed it in the trash bin covering  it with some trash so that it cant be seen.  I felt a presence in the room , I turned around , My boss stood next to his brother ,  his jaw dropped , he had this wierd shocked look as his brother had his hands above his head , his clothes looked dump  goodness! That vase mustve been priceless , did it have someone's ashes    it was empty though .

" am sorry I didnt mean to break it " I said nervously.

My boss came towards me before I know it his arms are wrapped around me hugging me tight   . I was so confused like seriously what the hell just happened . He kissed my forehead .  Did the fever mess with my  brain its making me see things .  Mike joined in the hug I was sandwitched between them  not sqeezed though . I was really not getting it  , why are they acting like I came from the dead? I just broke their vase an expensive vase to be precise.

They broke off from me  , I lost my balance and tripped my boss caught my back   before I fell , in a flash.  His eyes look sore its like ... hes been crying ... what would make him cry , did he hear bad news  about someone poor guy it mustve hurt him .  He touched my forehead , I still had fever . I remember from a far hearing someone call me baby.

"Mike call Doctor John " he told Mike , Mike took out his pho ne and went to the living room .  He carried me on his strong arms , if this is a dream then I should enjoy it while it lasts .  He took me to his room! And laid me on his bed! His f*****g bed! Oh my ! Please I am not waking up from this dream , imagination , hallucination whatever it is.  He went to his closet room and came back with a hoodie  and some sweat pants .  He handed it to me to change  as he excused himself. I removed my clothes and wore what he gave me , his scent f**k!   I was in his clothes .  He came back with a bowl of soup. 

  He fed me like a baby. I was full , it was so delicious.

He tucked me in bed .

"Please stay"I said . He touched my cheeks .

"Am here not going anywhere"  he said and let out a smirk.  He removed his shirt  . Oh ! Sweet gracious!  His body was worth to admire ,  he had a sexy Samoan tribal tattoo on his  chest , well carefully arranged six pack muscles , he looked like  he came off from a hottest men issue magazine cover , the ones I would google , print and stick it in my room imagining hes  real and my boyfriend. No wonder Kate was insecure and threatened me , b***h cheated on all this what a useless girl.

  I could imagine his strong hands pinning me down  his chest is on mine  as he plants kisses on my neck . 

" the doctor is here " Mike said drawing me back to reality .

A middle aged gentleman walked in . He conducted a couple of tests on me .

" she has fever , from cold mostly , she will be alright " he said , he injected me   with a drug  and gave my boss the other tablets after I took three of them.

"That will lower the body temperature , you will take some rest  " he said .

Take a rest ? Oh ! No! I have this wierd habit of involuntarily making this wierd s****l moan noises  whenever am sick , the first time Marie heard it she thought I was having s*x with a ghost she even took an audio of it .   The drug was starting to get into my system , began to feel drowsy . I dozed off .

Enrique' pov

I couldnt believe she was alive , I was so relieved I couldn't help it . She was asleep , 

" That was a miracle "Mike said .  

  " true , I thought she was dead thankfully she was alive" I said . He pat my shoulder .

"You saved her man ," he said . We both looked at Artemisia . She looked like a princess soundly  asleep .

" I hate to leave you bro but keep me posted on anything okay "he said .

"Thanks man , say hi to mom dont mention this to her , you know how she will start with her lectures " I said. My mom is quite a lecture giver .

"Sure , I wont , let me get my laptop " he said and left. I looked at Artemisia , what a scare  she gave me.  I will take her to Bora Bora with me , I really need a    vacation.  She began to make some moan noises , honestly they sounded s****l and funny .

"Okay am out... what the hell is that dont tell me you are watching porn Enrique "Mike said .

"  really man , shes the one making those noises am here standing . " I said .

He laughed

  " your girlfriend is a girl of many wonders,  she sounds sexy though , I bet shes dreaming you are inside her now " he said .

" she's not my ... arent you supposed to be leaving " I said . He walked away he knew he got me , I could hear his laughter from downstairs.

  I watched her sleep , shes so gorgeous her hair was loose ,so black and soft   ,  I took my laptop from my study  and continued with some work till seven . I ordered some taco  .   She woke up when I came back to my room .

"Hey " she said .

" hey Artemisia" I replied . I helped her sit up as I handed her some tacos.

"Thanks sir" she replied . 

She ate so fast , shes so beautiful. Her skin looked normal  .She was out of danger .

" do you remember what happened ?"  I asked.  Her sexy eyes looked at me.

" I wasn't feeling so well , I tried to cool off by the pool , as I stood to leave  I lost my energy the next thing I saw was darkness , please dont get mad "she said innocently . I smiled .

" no Artemisia am not mad " I said .

"  can I ask something " she asked.

" sure go ahead " I said.

"   did ... did you ... get me out of the pool?" She asked .

" yes I did , you weren't breathing  I tried multiple times to do a CPR on you but you were unresponsive ,  I thought I had lost you ... I mean we ... " I said .

She  blushed it looked so cute like an adorably kitten .  She took my hand kissed it.

" Thank you sir  " she said. I gave her medicine and tucked her in bed .

" goodnight sir"  she said .

" goodnight Artemisia."  I said .
