Elizabeth rested her head on Sawyer’s chest and began to run her fingers over his scars as he stroked her hair. She felt goosebumps raise on his skin, and he shuddered when her fingers grazed the scars lower on his abdomen. She moved her hand away, but he caught it and pressed it to his lips before he set it back on his body. “I hope we get to be alone soon.
