The huge heavy door to the library had always been difficult to open - at least for Elizabeth. When she tried to open it and found the door didn’t move, she shoved her shoulder against it rather forcefully; it didn’t budge. She shook the handle a little, and then tried again. It remained firmly closed. It had been locked, and now she was sure of that she started to walk back up to her room. She was on a mission, now. She was approaching her time spent with Francesca and Jonas the same way she approached writing one of her books. She was looking for evidence and finding the most compelling way to present it.
