CHAPTER 12

The next day I found it completely hard to get out of bed. I felt so lightheaded and so weak. Yesterday's work really affected me. I tossed and turned on the bed, feeling nauseous. I managed to get down and went to my bathroom, brushed my teeth, and took my bath. I had worn a clean pair of black shorts and a white tee-shirt and was combing my hair when the conversation I had with Nick came to mind.
What if I hadn't gone to that party that day? Then none of this would've happened.
This was the last thing I wanted to talk about so, I brushed that aside and went down for breakfast.
