“Save me~ Kill me~”
It was desperately asking to be released from this suffering.
“Wow! You can SPEAK!!?” Shiro was shocked when he heard it speak which sounded like a lady’s voice.
It seemed as if it had developed that ability after living for thousands of years. It had also developed some intelligence which is normally not found in them.
“Yes I can. Please kill me... I want to be released from this suffering.”
“...”
Shiro was not someone who would randomly go on killing others. His first priority was always to protect others. Other than that he would go in making them surrender before killing them. If they didn’t agree to surrender only then would he kill them.
But in this case someone was eagerly begging to be killed. It was as if she was suffering from so much pain that she felt dying off would be better.
Shiro has to heed her call since he had no say in this case. He wouldn’t have possibly understood her pain since it was her who was bearing the weight of the tree.
“Hmm, tell me... why don’t you just shrink yourself and escape?”
Shadow meras has the ability to skip through fine dark gaps that were provided. If it was any dark place, they could easily shrink to the tiniest of the size and expand how much ever they intended to do!
But that was only possible for the most adult forms which were the ones that caused the most nuisance. That was why Shiro asked the shadow meras the question since she was already matured enough to use that skill.
The shadow meras became quiet for sometime and immediately started laughing in a weird manner.
“Kekeke, looks like you are indeed a smart dragon who refuses to come towards me!”
“Haha, thank you for the compliment but one has to not be smart to know about this!”
It was clearly a trap that a shadow MERAS was trying. It was indeed true that she had been trapped here since ancient times but she indeed have tried to escape by shrinking herself.
The marks on the trees where the roots had been dragged were clearly seen and that was one of the clues that made Shiro aware that she was clearly not pitiful.
But it was indeed amazing that she had intelligence enough to trick anyone.
“Tsk, I can’t even kill you... nor can I let you stay here!”
She was indeed a great danger who could be easily classified to be an S-Rank beast!
“Kekeke, then what will you do Young dragon?”
Shiro looked at her again and thought of something really special.
“If I do that...”, he immediately thought if an idea that would allow her to be alive and at the same time not become a threat.
“What if I put a slave Seal ok you...?”
The shadow medas immediately shouted, “You dare to make this queen your slave!!?”
The shout was so might that Shiro was pushed back upto a certain extent.
“Tsk! Fine! Even I think you shouldn’t be left alone to suffer...”, Shiro put himself in her shoes and thought about it so he finally decided to kill her at the very least.
He immediately used a strong move which could have damaged his own internals.
“[SHADOW DESTROYER]...”
He immediately started to accumulate a large amount of mana in his fist which was taking the shape of a sphere.
The kept on growing in size and it’s colour changed into complete black. The aura itself was enough to make the queen fear.
“N-no... I don’t want to be killed... I was just joking!”
She tried to sway Shiro with her words and stop him from killing but Shiro was not listening to her plea anymore.
He was completely concentrating on the spell which he immediately shot towards her.
“Nooooooo!!!”
The next moment Shiro extended his right hand and chanted another spell which was glowing with green light.
There was a magic circle formed which was very strong and immediately after he completed chanting it, the spell took effect and another tree started growing from the bottom.
The shadow sphere had hit the queen and she was already shattered into pieces so now another tree was able to grow with ease.
The giant tree above it was too big and now since the support was gone it could have fallen any time and Shiro was completely aware of that so he used another magic called [LEVITATION] magic which allowed the tree to remain in the same position.
But it was quite a strong magic which was consuming a large amount of mana and Shiro had only a little amount of mana which could hold the tree for 3-4 minutes since he had used strong spells just earlier.
However that was not the only case, he was using another spell simultaneously which was allowing another small seed from the same tree to grow.
The spell had hastened its growth due to which it grew at a rapid rate and could support the tree within a minute.
“Phew, that was too tiresome!”
Shiro suddenly sat down on the ground since everything was now under control. He used his search magic and found that all the shadow MERAS had been killed and there was no other beast or monster in the area.
“I guess I can rest a bit now...”, immediately after saying that he put up a barrier in order to protect himself if anything would have gone wrong.
But that again would have drained his mana however this time that was not the case. The barrier was being provided by the system which wasn’t helping all this time.
“Was it a trial?”, he asked to himself while looking at the system.
“Sigh, for now let me get some rest and recover my mana!”
Immediately after saying that he fell asleep and didn’t bulge even an inch.
MEANWHILE...
“Amazing!!! Simply amazing! Who is this kid??”, the man from earlier was going crazy after looking at all the things Shiro had done.
“I’m waiting for you... come quick!!!”
