SHADOW MIRAS

“Tsk!!”, he summond a dagger from his storage space and immediately started chopping each one of them one by one but it seemed as if it didn’t have any effect.
“Damn! Don’t tell me, they are the SHADOW MERAS!”
Shadow MERAS was a name given to a beast that was long lost. They were extraordinarily talented in camouflaging and looked almost the same as humans.
They could easily change their appearance into anyone else and disguise so perfectly that even the person himself wouldn’t be able to find that who is real or not.
But the main difference between them and the normal citizens were that they couldn’t speak the language.
They could only make some weird sound but never could they learn or mimic any other voice.
Also they could only appear during nights or only at the places where there is complete dark.
Long ago, they spread towards the east and had captured and murdered many innocent dragon people but soon the king and some strong dragon eradicated them immediately.
That king was named as ‘SUN’ because of his strong light which he emitted. Though he was another royal dragon, he had direct blessings from the real sun.
The same was with the other dragon who had the power of the moon. He was called as - ‘MOON’.
Both of them cause an eclipse which lured all the Shadow MERAS out Thinking it was night and as soon as they had been lured out, the sun light shined immediately and all of them perished.
But right now Shiro found them in front of him. They were attacking from all sides.
“Damn these punks! Messing with me...”
Shiro was frustrated since there were more than thousands of them. He was chopping one and in front of him two would appear and when those two were chopped, four would appear next and so on.
“Tsk, this is not gonna work! Looks like I have to show my power...”
He immediately clenched his right fist and then inhaled a large amount of air.
Suddenly the pressure in the area increased and the speed with which the MERAS were moving decreased drastically.
“Ryo Shin Dai - 1st Move! Shadow cutter!”
He shouted it loudly and slashed into the thin air with a wooden stick that he had picked earlier.
Suddenly a Dark crescent moon shaped energy appeared out of no where which went straight towards the MERAS and chopped them in such a way that they weren’t able to multiply anymore.
“I knew this would work!”
He immeditekybused the move again and again which lead to the collapse in their number and now only a few hundreds were left.
“Huff huff... I ended up using a large amount of mana...”
In human world Ki would have been used to make this move however here he had to rely on mana which depleted quite faster than normal Ki.
But somehow he managed to kill most of the shadow MERAS who were looking like adults and stronger than the remaining who had the appearance of the kids.
“Looks like those are the infants... it won’t be much difficult to kill them...”, is what he initially thought but it was the young shodow meras who created most of the problems than the adult ones!
Theybimmediateky went into hiding and it was difficult to trace them.
“Uhhh!!! I should have killed them immediately.”
He immediately moved forward to move towards the inner areas when suddenly the infant MERAS started to attack him and immediately vanished.
Again when he took another step forward they tried to attack and vanished again.
“...”
Shiro was now completely annoyed by their mischievous act which was making him so frustrated that he wanted to completely destroy the area.
But he kept his calm and started to think properly.
“Ya... let’s use this!”
He gripped tightly in the wooden stick which he was holding since earlier with both of his hands and started to move the same way he did for SHADOW CUTTER.
“Ryo Shin Dai, 3rd move! FULL MOON s***h!”
This attack was quite opposite to that of the shadow cutter.
Whole the shadow cutter emitted an energy which looked completely dark, the full moon s***h shined brightly as it moved ahead.
Just the bright shine was enough to destroy all the shadow MERAS that were blocking his way and hiding wherever they could.
None of them survived and all ended up dying. But for some reason Shiro could still feel another energy coming up ahead so he rushed up further and immediately reached the inner most part of the dark area.
Thanks to his divine eyes, he was able to look at everything clearly but one thing was still bugging him.
“This energy feels similar to that of a showdown meras but at the same time it feels a bit different from it.”
He walked a bit further and finally arrived at the area from where such tremendous amount of energy was being released.
“Holy s**t! Are you kidding me?”
He looked at the large gigantic shadow MERAS who was ten times as big as him.
He finally understood why the tree’s roots were attached to other trees instead of the ground.
The shadow meras that was in front of him was at least a thousand years old and the tree was hardly 500 years old.
The shadow MERAS was literally supporting the huge tree on its back while it itself was suffering from immense pain. It could neither die nor could it be released from this since it was completely dark here.
Shadow meras can’t die unless sufficient amount of light reaches them but the amount of light that reached the gigantic meras was just a few rays that had escaped the leaves of the tree above her.
“Save me~ Kill me~”
It was desperately asking to be released from this suffering.
“Wow! You can SPEAK!!?” Shiro was shocked when he heard it speak which sounded like a lady’s voice.
It seemed as if it had developed that ability after living for thousands of years. It had also developed some intelligence which is normally not found in them.
“Yes I can. Please kill me... I want to be released from this suffering.”
“...”
