HANNAH POV
We all howl at the moon now that Noah has officially become an Alpha.
We all applaud our new Alpha.
“Princess Hannah, I don’t want you to leave, you are really special, and I hope that you had a very nice birthday.” Cindy says.
“I did Cindy, thank you.” I say.
“I made cupcakes in the kitchen, shall we go get some before Cory finds them.” I say giggling.
I show Cindy into the kitchen, and start unwrapping the cupcakes.
I hand one to Cindy, “Thank you Princess.” Cindy says.
“Shall we go and find your mom?” I ask.
“Yeah, I don’t want her to get worried.” Cindy says.
As we walk out of the pack house, I see Cindy’s mom Nora, walking towards us.
“Cindy!” Nora called out.
“Princess, please forgive us.” Nora says.
“Nora, you have nothing to worry about, Cindy is my little helper, and she is always in the kitchen with me.” I say.
“Cindy, I have told you about wondering off.” Nora says.
“Sorry mama.” Cindy says.
“Oh Cindy, I didn’t know that you wondered off from your mom, you have to promise that you won’t do that again, you know that sometimes a rouge can get in and I will never forgive myself if you get hurt.” I say.
“I am sorry Hannah.” Cindy says.
Cory walks over towards us and takes my hand.
“Alpha Cory.” Nora says.
“Hey babe, this is Nora and her adorable little girl Cindy.” I say.
“Pleasure to meet you Nora and Cindy if I may say I think you stole the show with how adorable you are.” Cory says.
“I am needed back in the stage can I catch up with you later?” I ask Nora.
“It would be our pleasure.” Nora says.
“Happy birthday Noah.” I say as I join them all back on stage.
“Happy birthday Hannah.” Noah says.
I grab the microphone, “I hope you can all join us in celebrating our new Alpha, and oh I think our Alpha has found his mate.”
“We have a new Luna already?” The pack members whisper.
“Thanks for that.” Noah mind links me.
“You are welcome, it’s what’s sisters are for.” I mind link before I shut off the mind link and walk back to Cory.
Me and Cory walk off the stage.
“Now where were we?” Cory asked.
“Right about here.” I say as I lean in to kiss him.
My heart fluttered.
We head inside and the music starts playing, so we all start drinking, laughing and dancing.
Cory goes off to my brother, while I dance with Lilyanna and Lacey.
I feel a little tap on my shoulder.
I swing around, “Hey Cindy.” I say.
“Hannah, I want to be like you when I grow up, I don’t want to be a princess though, I just want to be beautiful and be good at making cakes.” Cindy says.
I smile.
“You are beautiful and any time you want to practice, you come and find me okay?” I say.
“Princess, I made this for you.” Cindy says.
“Happy Birthday Princess Hannah.” Was written on the card and a lovely drawing of me and Cindy on the stage while Cindy holds her cupcake.
“I love it, thank you so much.” I say.
“I also asked mama to grow this for you, I remember you talking in the kitchen about how Alpha Cory picked you one.” Cindy says as Nora hands over a flower in a plant pot.
“The Cherokee Rose.” I say.
“It’s beautiful. You and your mama are wonderful people.” I say.
I hug Nora and Cindy.
I can’t stop the tears forming in my eyes.
“Is everything okay?” I hear Cory’s voice coming from the side of me.
“Yeah look.” I say through tears as I show him the Cherokee rose.
“How?” Cory asked.
“Hard work, but we grow the herbs we need to treat our warriors, and when Cindy told me, I had to grow them.” Nora says.
“Alpha Cory.” Cindy says.
“Yes, Cindy?” Cory says.
“You were mean to our princess last year, and she had made you cupcakes with these flowers on and we shared them because you made her cry, that wasn’t very nice.” Cindy says.
“I was mean to Hannah last year, but I can promise you now that I will never be mean to her again.” Cory says.
Cory raises his little finger to promise her he won’t do it again.
“That’s good or I will have to eat your cupcakes again.” Cindy says.
Nora and I can’t help but laugh at Cindy.
“Please enjoy the party and come and see me tomorrow and I will take you for a tour around my new pack.” I say.
Cindy and Nora head off to enjoy the party.
Cory’s eyes flicker black.
“Noah wants you.” Cory says.
“Okay, I say.
I leave Cory and head outside to find Noah and his pack are all by the stage.
“I am not happy with a lot of you, Hannah has done nothing but good for you guys half of you wouldn’t have jobs if Hannah didn’t step in to help.” Noah says.
“What are you doing?” I mind link Noah.
“You will see.” Noah mind links back.
“I mean come on if a nine year old girl and her mom can remember that it’s not just my birthday but Hannah’s too, you should all be able to remember too.” Noah says.
“A f*****g nine year old!” Noah roared through the microphone.
“Sorry Alpha.” The pack members say.
“Happy birthday Princess Hannah.” The pack say.
I smile.
“Thank you.” I say to Noah.
“Cory told me, but Hannah you still haven’t told him about your business have you?” Noah asked.
“No, and I would like to keep it that way just for a little bit longer.” I says.
Noah nods his head.
“You’re all dismissed, but anyone that disrespects my sister again you will know about it.” Noah says.
“Come on let’s go dancing.” I say to Noah.
“I will join you later.” Noah says.
I walk off the stage and back into the pack house.
I see Cory and Lilyanna together and I still feel a little bit of jealousy, but I know he will mark me.
I grab my flower and birthday card off of the kitchen side and take them up to my room.
I am in my room for a few minutes before I hear a knock on the door.
“Princess, it’s Lilyanna, can I come in?” Lilyanna asked.
“Of course.” I say.
“Do you have time to talk?” Lilyanna asked.
“Yeah, sure, what’s wrong?” I asked as Lilyanna sat down beside me on my bed.
“I hope you didn’t think too much about me and Cory being so close, I was just telling him how grateful we all are that you worked with Noah so we could still have a home.” Lilyanna says.
“Thank you.” I say.
“Do you think he will forgive me?” I asked.
