CHAPTER SIXTEEN KENNEDY I ran down the hill to our usual finishing spot on the obstacle course. Hayes gave me a high five, and I set my hands on my hips as I walked in circles, catching my breath. While Quincy and I had been on a plane returning from California, the others hadn’t done the usual early morning PT because of a hard rain.
