Chapter 15

The waiter led us to a VIP table and immediately asked for our orders. Agad naman ding nagsabi ng order si Maureen and then the waiter immediate left to prepare for it.

“Oh so this was okay to you? You seemed like a regular here Maureen. What’s the catch huh?” naiinis na sabi ko sa kanya.

“Eh kasi friend ko yong may ari neto and you know medyo may misunderstanding kami kaya umiiwas ako alam mo naman mahiklil ang pasensya ng friend mong to. Baka mamaya magkita kaming dalawa dito eh hindi ko sya matantya edi hindi manlang natin naenjoy tong gabi nato first time mo pa namang magaya sa bar haynako.” She said frustratedly.

Bigla naman akong nagworry sa sinabi nya nako talagang maikli ang pasensya nitong kaibigan kong to sa totoo nga nagtataka ako kung panong napaka bait nya pero napaka ikli din ng pasensya nya.

Like I said she’s such a bubbly person pero pag talaga sya nagagalit she’s like a tiger haha. Sometimes na papaisip nan ga lang ako nab aka may split personality tong babaeng to.

“Do you want to go to another place? Okay lang sakin. We can just pay for our orders and then go somewhere else right?” sabi ko naman sa kanya.

I don’t want to ruin this night gaya nga ng sabi ni Maureen ngayon ko lang naisipang magbar so why not make the most out of it.

“No. I am fine here and besides magaling yung DJ nilang duty ngayon saka pogi! Okay lang ako promise I’ll behave para maenjoy natin yung gabing to okie okie?” masayang sabi nya sa akin.

I couldn’t help but laugh at her. Sabi na ng aba hahaha!

Pag dating ng drinks namen and some foods kumain na kami ni Maureen.

Then after that she decided to go to the dance floor.

The song roar was playing in the background as we dance to the tune of it.

So this is how it feels to party, felt nice and really light I like it. Kaya pala itong si Maureen laging masyado ang pangungulit sa akin na magppunta sa bar.

We were happily dancing and singing when someone suddenly pulled Maureen the next thing I knew she was already on the floor with some girl lashing out on her and sinasabunutan at kinakalmot sya. I was actually stunned for a minute.

I didn’t know what to do! Is this the girl she’s talking about! Oh gosh we should’ve left earlier! Maureen didn’t tell me it was this bad!

I heard Maureen shouted so bigla akong napa balik sa sarili ko.

“Get off me you b***h!!!” sigaw nya sa babae saka nya hinaltak ang buhok nito.

I immediately went to her and shoved away the girl.

“Get off of my friend! You b***h I will make sure you will regret laying your filthy hands on her!” sabi ko sa babae at saka ko hinablot ang buhok nya para tigilan nya yung kaka panakit nya kay Maureen but believe me.

The girl is really strong, baka naman boxer tong si ate my ghad Maureen!

I was about to twist the girl’s arm dahil feeling ko wala na akong choice but then her friends came huhuhu

They were actually three.

And pinagtutulungan na nila kami ni Maureen. Oh God I don’t know what to do anymore!

I was about to ask for the help of the bouncers when suddenly a man went to Maureen and scooped her like a kid.

I was about to ask who the guy is but then someone grabbed me and took me away from that situation. Pinagtitinginan kami ng mga tao sa bar. But after some time they all resumed like nothing happened. Like it was normal.

Hindi ko alam kung sino yung may hawak ng braso ko kasi naka talikod sya sa akin.

I don’t know why pero sumusunod lang ako sa kanya, probably because I felt like I am safe. Naka sunod pa din kami kanila Maureen.

God! Lagot talaga tong babaeng to saken bukas!

Pagdating naming sa VIP room I was supposed to get my arm back dahil kanina pa hawak hawak ng lalaki sa harapan ko yung kamay ko per pagpasok naming ng VIP room pagharap nya sa akin kusa nyang binitawan yung kamay ko at muntik ng malaglag yung panga ko ng makita ko  kung sino ang may hawak hawak ng braso ko.

It was none other than HIM.

Yes! Him! The annoying p*rvert at Heiran Hotel!

“You?!” gulat na gulat na sabi ko sa kanya.

But instead of answering me, the guy looked at Maureen and gave her a light spaank on the head.

Mabilis akong lumapit kay Maureen and tapped away his hand.

“How dare you?!” naiinis na sabi ko sa kanya.

Tinignan nya lang ako tapos tumingin sya ulit kay Maureen.

“Is this what you call chill Maui? Akala ko ba tonight will be quiet and peaceful because of your friend here?” tanong nya kay Maureen at saka ako tinignan.

Maureen looked so sad.

“Is this how you want to get back with Caleb? You wont be able to get him back with this kinds of stunt paulit ulit mong pinapakita sa kanya na dapat lang na iniwanan ka nya. Look how low and desperate you are right now. You wont get him back with these petty techniques.” Galit na sabi nito kay Maureen.

Nalilito man ako sa pinagsasasabi nya ay mas pinili ko pa din na ipagtanggol sya.

“Look I don’t know how you are related to Maureen but you have no right to tell her those things! Sino ka bas a akala mo ha?” naiinis na sabi ko sa kanya.

The guy looked at me again.

“Stay out of this Miss.” Sagot naman nya sa akin.

Dumating na din yung lalaking bumuhat kay Maureen kanina at may dalang medicine kit probably going to use to treat her.

“Here, you treat your cousin Damon. Aayusin ko pa yung gulong ginawa nya.” Tipid na sabi ng lalaki kay Mr. P*rvert.

“Sige Caleb ako na ang bahala kay Maui. Salamat pare.”

Nagulat nalang ako pagkalabas nung lalaki biglang umiyak ng umiyak si Maureen.

“Maureen, hey shh its okay. We’ll talk about it later okay? Do you wanna go home? Let’s go?” nag aalalang tanong ko kay Maureen.

Maureen shooked her head and looked at me with her crying face. Hindi ko alam kung bakit parang naawa ako sa itsura nya ngayon she looked, hurt, sad and broken I have never seen her like this. Dapat talaga akong bumawi sa kanya.

“Psyche, is it okay if I will stay here for a bit I just have someone I need to punch in the face.” Maureen said to me determinedly.

I was hesistant to say yes to her but then I know how strong willed she is and I am sure hindi naman siguro sya gagawan ng masama noong lalaki kanina because he seemed really concerned about her. And I just realized just now that the guy was the Caleb they are talking about on the phone.

“Haaay, okay okay but promise me you will give me a call hihintayin kitang tumawag I wont sleep until you call me. Or better yet hintayin kita? Gusto mo ba hintayin kita you didn’t bring your car. Hindi na safe na mag uber its really late Maureen and I am really worried about you,” I told her concernly.

Maureen hugged me really tight as if she is getting strength from me.

“No, I’ll be fine tomorrow I’ll take a day off and crash to your place. I will tell you everything tomorrow okay? I promise. Dame, will you please take care of my friend?” tanong nya kay Mr. P*rvert.

The guy looked at me and then nodded at Maureen.

“Nope. I can perfecty go home on my own Maureen. Just text me okay? I will wait for your call.” Sagot ko naman kay Maureen.

I will definitely not go with this man it’s a big NO!

“No please Psyche Estella wag matigas ang ulo you don’t know how dangerous the people around you. Lot’s of guys were oogling at you earlier hindi ako mapapanatag kung alam kong magisa kang aalis and besides Damon’s place is also in your tower. Mas convenient kung sasabay ka nalang sa kanya para mapanatag ang loob ko. Please?” she asked me with her pleading eyes.

Ugh! Bwiset!

“Okay okay, but you should ask him if it is okay with him.” Sagot ko sa kanya at saka inirapan si Mr. P. Uhuh sya si Mr. P dahil p*rvert syang nilalang.

“I’ll take care of her.” Sagot lang niya.

Bumukas ang pinto at pumasok yung isang lalaki kanina.

Mr. P looked at me.

“We should go,” sabi nya sa akin at nagets ko naman ang sitwasyon.
