Chapter 29
Margaret awakens to the sound of someone rolling a cart into the room. Ivan has ordered breakfast for the two of them. She peeks over her covers and watches the waiter exchange a few comments with Ivan and then leave. The aroma of espresso coffee makes her smile and sit up.
Ivan teases, “Coffee or me, which woke you?”
“Neither, I heard the cart.” Margaret chuckles.
“I wanted to get a little something for my princess.” Ivan climbs onto the bed and offers a wet, meandering kiss. Playfully, Margaret pulls him under the covers with her, which arouses more than just their appetites. The feel of his body next to hers sends quivering waves of desire throughout her body. “You make it rather difficult for me to return home. Ecstasy, or a desk job? That’s not a fair choice.”
